Owned both and in my opinion if you're planning on modifying it to a decent level(computer/turbo/etc) then your decision will all come down to the looks and the quality of cars you inspect. If you're not going to modify it to that level then definitely go an R34. Cheers. Edit: Veilside is teh ghey and that R34($10500) has got to be dodge.

Spotted white R34 in elwood 7-eleven carpark, very similar to mine. Parked right next to him - beautiful sight If that's anyone on here, drop the ride height just a little bit and your car would be so mint.

i have just recently started to get a similar problem. Whenever I floor it, I get a *beep* *beep* *beep* which seems to be coming from my dash - or turbo timer/EBC/digi speedo location (next to my left knee). It's gonna be something simple, and I am going to feel like a dick when I find out what it is, but for now I have no clue. EDIT: It is probably an alert, coming from my EBC. If it's a boost leak I know just where to find it

+1 The Skyline (particularly 32/33/34) is tarred for life, or at least until it's old enough to get 'Classic' status. So there's not much point in arguing about it. The damage is already done. Hooning ain't going away either, not with 1000 drag strips. It's just the way of things.
