  1. I am going to have a look over the weekend to check these rails arent bent or whatever , this is shitting me to tears, bloody much harder than it sounds like it should be.
  2. Nice choice. I have that on my R34 GTT. I love it. HKS Silent Hi Power - great system.
  3. An update: for you guys helping me out: Coils changed but misfire persisted. In fact changed from an intermittant misfire to a constant misfire. Changed sparkplugs - and gapped them to 0.8mm (the ones I pull out looked to be gapped to 0.1mm!!) - no improvement. The coil cover has gone back on after each piece of work was completed. Unlikely the coils have been fouled in any way. Possibilities: The current tune is for spark plugs gapped at crazily small gaps (~0.1mm)? I got some dirt/something in my cylinders when changing the spark plugs? I might try regapping my plugs down to 0.1/0.2 but failing that I'm leaving it to the experts. I have a bunch of parts being installed by CREATD including a 2835 pro s turbo kit and cams so I will let Rob fix it!
  4. The seat rails have the four bolts in the bottom of the chair and another 2 bolts each side at the hinge point, i.e. the rails seem to be incorporated with the hinging mechanism. To get the whole thing off I have a total of 8 bolts plus there is a rod going through the back of the seat at the hinge point. What year do you have? Sedan or Coupe? GTT? Cheers mate.
  5. Thanks Dahtone. Now next question is... who can make me some custom rails? Any clues on who I should speak to? Cheers.
  6. Ok, so the GTT seat rail swap doesn't appear like it's gonna work. The GTT rails are incorporated into the seat. Any other ideas while I wait for a response from Alien? Cheers.
  7. In the realms of 1500. Very good nick. I had heard prices as high as 3000 previously. Cheapest I had heard prior to buying these was like 850 a seat. Love your avatar by the way.
  8. Noooo waaaaaay!!! I got em cheap cheap too
  9. Swapsies sounds like a good idea. Should've thought of that myself heh. Thanks for the help! I will PM Alien for any extra tips. Cheers.
  10. I have bought a pair of R34 GTR seats for my R34 GTT coupe. I thought they were going to bolt straight in, especially after helping Joeyjoejoe put R33 GTR seats in his R33 GTS-T. Anyway they didn't. I have managed to get 3 out of 4 bolts in(2 rears, and inside front or 2 fronts and inside rear). Firstly can anyone point me to a post that deals with this, my searches havent been very successful? Failing that, can anyone tell me is this meant to be a straight bolt on swap? If not, any ideas on what I need to do to make em fit? If it is, what's going wrong, bent rails or something? Thanks in advance.
  11. No trades unfortunately. I need cold hard currency. Cheers.
  12. Had a camera malfunction, so pics most likely tomorrow.

  14. Same theory behind modding all cars mate. Do your exhaust and since its a non turbo do extractors too. - $1000 installed Do your intake, pod filter, CAI, boxed, etc. - $200 installed New ECU or piggy back system so you can tune it. - $500 - $1000 installed New cams. - $1000 installed New clutch and/or Flywheel. - $1000 installed Forged/light wheels. - $3000 installed All prices above are estimates and include an estimation for installation and includes some swings and roundabouts. Prices assume professional installation and quality Japanese parts(but not necessarily brand new). It can be done much cheaper especially if you did the easy bits yourself, however, you get what you pay for. I am more than happy to be corrected Cheers.
  15. I haven't notice too much tail gating in my 4 years of Skyline ownership. Just the idiots looking for a race occassionally. However, I had some bloke in a new Commodore tailgating me on King's Way in Melbourne a few days ago, I mean really tailgating, lucky he wasn't nudging me. Anyway I thought he was trying to have a go at me, so I did what I normally do and slow down, box him in, etc, whatever I can to give him a little bit of frustration for driving like a wanker... anyway once I let him past me(once I had finished playing for the day) I noticed that he wasn't tailgating because I was a Skyline, he was just a f#cken idiot and was tail gating everyone. Some people are just f#ck wit heroes on the road.
  16. LMAO classic.
  17. Imagine you drop a ciggie but out the window of that thing. No problem remembering that number plate if you happen to be an EPA friendly observer!
  18. heheh thanks Joey. Count me in for any re-acquisition. Cheers.
  19. If you eat and drive you're a bloody idiot? jk!!
  20. IANAL and I don't work for VicRoads but I believe anything other than the gear stick which would cause you to take 2 hands off the steering wheel is an offence in Victoria. Check your local laws but it doesn't surprise me... even if it is a bit rediculous.
  21. If you have to change the kit... Do-Luck and Top Secret are kick ass.
  22. +1 and here they are... I put them on my R34 and never looked back... black, forged and sexy. Win/win. I believe I know someone selling a set... PM for details. Cheers.
