  1. ^^ So do 33's according to some people on here! Before the flaming begins - some people does not equal me, I am an ex-33 owner myself, joey's 33 to be exact
  2. I had a similar issue although not exactly... I went to a Nissan/Jap wreckers, got me a BOV from a soon to be wrecked R33 gtst(you can pick em up in the For Sale section as well), bolted her on and presto problem solved. Maybe you can service your current BOV. IANAM (I am not a mechanic)
  3. I did bother to read it and just made a commentary about what normally happens on this forum when stalling or atmo bov's are mentioned. I have no opinion one way or the other. Perhaps you'll notice that I wasn't replying to your post, denoted by the quote in my post.
  4. When it comes to atmo BOV's you can never be quick enough! Threads with stall in the title = flame on!
  5. I see what you did there! I also have an R34 SMIC that I would be willing to part with... Edit: Woohoo 100th post!
  6. +1 for 600 x 300 x 75. +1 for front pipe, etc. I wouldn't worry about water cooling your intercooler unless you live in the Gobi desert. My FMIC is mostly cold to the touch even on hot days. But like (00)Skyline(00) said if you wanna be anal it's an option.

    For Sale!

    Stuff for sale...
  8. That is a beautiful thing... great job!
  9. I was under the impression that the 2835 was actually from the GT30 family(Strange I know). Could be wrong. Anyway +1 for more info!
  10. +1 HKS Silent Hi Power. Got one on the R34, it is quiet but the note is super sexy and as stated before when you open it up, it growls like a mother f**ker. Loud under load, quiet at idle... perfect imo. I am running HKS front/dump as well for the record. There was obviously a noticeable restriction reduction from my old Nismo system. It also looks great and is HKS so chicks clothes just fall off when they approach your car. As far as the cost, I can't remember exactly, it wasn't cheap but was reasonable.
  11. Got mine from a Jap wrecker... not a hard part to find 2 years ago. Might be different now, I dunno.
  12. Yeah, without going into the same sort of detail in the rest of this post... my car does the whole "sounds like a WRX and drives like a piece of shit" thing randomly at the moment. I am almost 100% positive it's my coils. Replacing the whole lot with splitfires this weekend. I hope for the sake of your pocket book, it's your plugs... coils are exxy!
  13. +1 I got a set of LM GT4's from Thuy cheap cheap... amongst lot's of other stuff. He gets my endorsement.
  14. Without being an expert on the subject, I am quite sure of the following: # Fitting adjustable CAM gears to the motor will basically disable VCT(for want of better words); # The sensors are different, not sure of how much work is required for the PFC install; # Coils; # Z32 should be more than sufficient for a basic tune. Please correct me if I am wrong. Cheers.
  15. I tend to keep cars for a long time so not a huge list: 1987 Holden VL Commodore (owned for 5 years - sold to friend) 1993 Landrover Discovery (Parents old car, bought it for a steal... owned for 2 years) 1993 Nissan Skyline R33 GTS-T (owned for 3 years, sold to friend on this forum) 1999 Nissan Skyline R34 GT-T (current car) Next car R34 or R35 GTR and a 4x4 daily/tow car!!!
  16. They look like Speedie Inferno's. Seen em put on my mates R33 recently and another guy thinking of putting them on a Supra. Nice wheels.
  17. You can always mount it low and put a shield on it.
  18. When I got defected in my old R33, they didn't take any photos. Is this a new practice? My last defect would have been at least 2 years ago. Also, to hijack a little but not much, any comments on whether an HKS 2835 Pro S would be much worse than a hi-flow in terms of emissions? I suppose it all depends on the tune. I guess if you run a hi-flow setup at 280kW and a 2835 setup at 280kW the emissions would be similar if not identical?
  19. Afternoon all, I am looking for a reputable garage to get my car serviced in South Melbourne or surrounding suburbs. Currently I drive the car to a mechanic in Moorabin and get taxis to and from the shop which is hardly ideal when I work and live around South Melbourne. Anyone have a good mechanic in the area? Must obviously be knowledgeable with imports/Skylines as I don't want to take the car to any old mechanic. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.
  20. No problems with my Greddy Profec Spec B so far. Loving it. It does lack some of the extra functionality of the EBC's above but the price is right and it does what it's supposed to
  21. Quoted for all things good and true. Lambo Countach as well.
