  1. Just going to fix up my error above in case any one in the future comes across this thread. Series II foglights are H3's. The above is a typo, my bad Here are the foglight bulbs pictured.
  2. Lol what the hell. They are definetely H3's I think that was a typo in that old thread and I ment to say H3's. That's the bad boys there.
  3. Honestly I would love to, but I can't believe how bloody hopeless these guys are and I really don't have faith in doing another one unless they can gaurantee me a turn around time. I'm still waiting on a reply for the damn new tracking number, half a week and still no reply. Is it really that hard to reply to some ones emails when you do they are pissed off and want to know updates on a daily basis. We'll see man, we'll see.
  4. I'm looking into replacing my Microtech with a Vipec/Link and was thinking the other day whether it would be fairly easy to setup the A-LSD pumps to turn on and lock the diff up when TPS hits 100% instead of it just waiting for a wheel speed sensor to sense a loss of traction. Prevention better than cure But yeah your traction control idea seems very interesting, will be watching how you progress with it. Maybe incorporate your idea that with the A-LSD or something.
  5. Ok cool, that was my understanding of what happened aswell.
  6. My understanding of what happened (and i could be wrong) was that the VCT cam gear was completely pulled apart, then when put back together it was done incorrectly which moved the position of the TDC mark. Then it was put onto the intake camshaft, all TDC were marked up correctly and the belt was put on. So it appeared the belt was on correctly, when looking at the TDC dots, but in fact the VCT cam gear was wrong. Is that right? Because other than that explanation I don't understand how you can do it incorrectly, the cam gears can only be placed onto the camshaft one way and the dots can only align up one way.
  7. So when you pull apart the VCT cam gear you can put it back together incorrectly so it moves the TDC position dot? I've never actually "completely" pulled it apart before.
  8. Have you done much testing with using the Vipec for traction control with the wheel speed signals?
  9. So wait, your intake camshaft was 180 degrees out? Wouldn't that have bent valves?
  10. True that! Dave you are one crazy mofo...and I love it
  11. Yeah I have lost count the number of times I changed cams troubleshooting my stupid problems (Stock cams, HKS cams, Tomei cams) and I think I worked at TDC every time, but I always made sure the cams didn't rotate much when bolting the cam caps down.
  12. Yes! Hate the fact the GTR only illuminates one pair of the rear lights, good mod my man
  13. Hahahahaha gold!
  14. Hmmm I swear I did my camshafts a few times with the engine at TDC and never bent anything Doesn't the engine manual say to make sure cylinder one is at TDC?
  15. What Monaro is that Ash?
  16. Yeah that led in the 370 is fantastic. Doesn't shine enough to be annoying, but illuminates the centre perfectly
  17. Hoping to have a reply tonight with tracking number of the kits, see how we go.
  18. My cars noise wakes the dead. I love it.
  19. Hahahaha sounds like a plan to me
  20. Bit of a bump, what's a V44 plug and play worth these days? Just the ECU, not installed and tuned.
  21. Lol I had been thinking the same thing, I just really don't want to push my luck. Once I get them in my hands I might make a mention of it.
  22. Not that I have seen. Only one that has it is the brake fluid.
  23. So how did you do a dyno tune with no aftermarket ecu? Or do you just mean a dyno run? I'm amazed that you got 193kw with no ECU, the stock intercooler and 10psi.
