  1. That's a really nice, clean example of an R33. Surprised this hasn't sold already for that price.
  2. Wanting to buy some R34 GTR rims in the bronze/gold colour with tyres.
  3. Can your car take off with that thing on? If so, I'll take it!
  4. $900 for a 2nd hand genuine. Or $7,600 new from Nissan.
  5. SAFC is a piggy back comp to lean out fuel and such. Not a real performance upgrade. PFC is a complete ecu replacement where you can change engine management parameters for performance. The PFC will enable you to get 200rwkw.
  6. Why would we support some idiot who endangers other peoples lives? I think he should do some time because obviously they have been far too lenient before and he didn't learn. Maybe his room mate 'Bubba' might make him think twice afterwards.
  7. I thought you weren't allowed any modified engines? I just sold my N15 SSS and it was a quick car stock anyway.
  8. What are those rims on the silver R33? I really like them!

    2pac Fans?

I thought it was Warren G? Old thread I know!
  10. Yeah I know. I'm not interested in buying the turbo. I have a series II R33 and was wondering if I have this same turbo in my car?
  11. Did all series II R33's have these turbos stock?
  12. Where in Melbourne was that?
  13. How much did it cost?
  14. I've got the Phillips Blue Vision in there now and they aren't very white. More just like a minor improvement over the standards.
  15. Am I reading this right that you are willing to swap this for a 250 bike?
  16. Depends how notchy your gear box is. If it's bearable, then don't bother changing it. But if it really annoys you to the point where you can't quick shift, then give the light weight Shock Proof a go. It's expensive at $120-$135 for a gallon (3.7L), but well worth it if it fixes the notchiness. I would have a read on their site, then shoot then off an email and ask what they recommend. Maybe just put some Nulon G70 in it and see how that goes first? It's only $22.
  17. This is not surprising at all. Your mate shouldn't be ashamed because the RX Impreza's are absolutely gutless without a turbo and tuning. Not worth the money at all IMO. Unless you just want a AWD get around.
  18. Black rims with a chrome lip look freakin hot on a black R34. I've seen it and loved it!
  19. Thanks for that info! But if I was to go with the globes (white light look) would I need a set for the normal headlights & a set for the hi-beams aswell? I take it I need H1s yeah?
  20. Compared to S15's, WRX's, R32's & R33's, yes. I'm in Melbourne too, and they aren't common at all.
  21. I just had the Motul 300V chrono put in. Engine definately feels smoother. Didn't do much to quieten the tapping sounds though. What I was most impressed with though was the Red Line light weight Shock Proof gear oil. I would recommend this to anyone with worn syncros and/or gear box notchiness. Think twice before getting a reco box and try this stuff. It's gold!
  22. What do you guys think of these? Do they sound alright? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/H1-H3-H4-H7-9005-HB...1QQcmdZViewItem & http://cgi.ebay.com.au/MTEC-HID-XENON-COSM...1QQcmdZViewItem Normal or Xenon, which is the best?
  23. The R34 GTT RB25 is NEO, so isn't it supposed to be more fuel efficient? What's the fuel efficieny figures for the R34 GTT then? Looks fugly, won't go near as quick as the other 3, is over priced, spare parts will burn a hole in your pocket, is FWD etc. Need I say more? WRX Sti sounds the best out of the 3. Is the quickest, has a nice interior, AWD, but is dog ugly on the outside. JDM S15 Silvia is nearly as quick as the Sti. Is a more 'fun' car than the other 2 as it is relatively light. Don't discount the 4 pot. The SR20 is an extremely tough little power-house that loves to rev. It looks frickin hot on the outside, and is very nicely styled on the inside (bar the cheap looking hand brake). R34GT-T looks the toughest and most aggresive out of them all. Best thing is it's the most unique/original (in Australia) as they are still relatively rare. Interior is very bland, exterior mainly looks the best with a decent kit on. It's the slowest (stock) of the 3. But as you know, has the 6 cylinder. IMO, go the JDM S15. It would be the most fun out of all 3. You can use it as a daily, a track or a drift car and will be the most entertaining drive. Sti is way too expensive, but for pure all round performance, you can't go past it.... unless you want an EVO.
  24. I've never heard of that before. So biggest legally you can get is 18"? Some cars come factory with bigger than 18" though.
  25. Grand Tourismo Sport 2.5Litre Turbo/M spec TYPE M! (body kit) RB25 engine
