I don't know much about DR30's in particular but something that old with a turbo and new suspension parts etc is always going to be hard and a bit of an up hill battle. Custom fabricated this custom that and import the rest all adds up a pretty expensive exercise. Perhaps consider a SR20 swap (I'm assuming you have silvias up there) but either way that leaves panels, suspension, brakes etc. Sounds like a project to me

The screenshot you've posted is the whatever-bus connector/port for cd changers. I have no idea how you'd splice this from an ipod dock but the way you said seems possible. Ipod dock> rca> your cd thing Now - as far as I know the cd thingy (the connector in your photo) is proprietry. They all look the same but I've been told some are different. Unfortunately I'm not too sure about those as I've never had or played with a stacker. What I can say is that there is info on the net to make the ipod dock go to RCA. So if you can find the pin layout for your cd stacker connector and can make it into rca then you should be right. Barring that you could just do away with the RCAs if you could find the ipod dock connection and use a generic firewire plug in thing and do it direct (if ya get what I mean). For everything except making your cd stacker connector thingy into RCA you should be able to find in this section of the forum.

Update: Going to Cromer Exhaust Centre on Saturday to get my brackets and extra muffler fitted. Blokes said I should get away under $250 absolute max. Hopefully they'll have a good muffler in stock so I won't have to come back the week after (they said it's a possibility). Damnit I'm broke this week and my credit card hurts : heh

I dealt with Matt from UAS - he was very helpful and spent quite a bit of time helping me out with mine (unlike some peoples there who wouldn't give you the time of day cos they're too cool for school). Price was ok - better than dealing with the stooges at Crowie Nissan parts (stooge).

I think they traded out of it but wrxhoon did put a very good case to me as to why they ain't that good. If you had a GTR or something you'd want a quiktrak and a ezitrack but the money is just too much to justify on my cefiro. I might just get a normal alarm/immobiliser and ask the installer to leave me an extra wire or two where I can fit a couple of my own little tricks heh heh. .

Are you meant to mount that into the dash? I'm suprised it lists cefiro in there O_o

I second/third that you will need all the same all around. I also think that if you're going to the trouble to get new wheels for him that they should be wider. 9" or 10" would look really hot, especially with a 235 or 245 width tyre stretched across them. I'm not sure about offset as I've never owned/fitted a skyline let alone a GTR!
