  1. are these the silver ones out the back of the warehouse? i thought those were impul (ahh my memory comes and goes).
  2. I don't know much about DR30's in particular but something that old with a turbo and new suspension parts etc is always going to be hard and a bit of an up hill battle. Custom fabricated this custom that and import the rest all adds up a pretty expensive exercise. Perhaps consider a SR20 swap (I'm assuming you have silvias up there) but either way that leaves panels, suspension, brakes etc. Sounds like a project to me
  3. Hoooooo !! Well - it looked like a sleeper in traffic. Lowered - mis-matched wheels, couple of stickers and exhaust. Quite sedate for a drift car/done up silvia.
  4. Hmm s13 ones might fit you say... too_much was saying that also, although I didn't believe him at the time
  5. God damn that's cheap C. Oh.. wait.. that's a bearing, not the hub right? If it's the bearing did they have trouble putting it into the hub? If it's the hub god damn that's cheap.
  6. Parramatta Road is a big stretch of road where the many shonky car dealers in Sydney congregate. I would never EVER buy a car there (again). If they mention warranty - start walkin. PS considered a cefiro?
  7. Off topic but I'd like to get the James Bond styled hit the button and the plate changes. It'd work with a common car like the barina but I'm just not sure if I could find another white cefiro to steal plates from. .... hmm where'd that too_much guy go .. :sly:
  8. Do'h I wish I had money they look like great rims for the track. Good luck with sale.
  9. BMX stuff - Cycology in Gladesville. They're near BD4s which are also in Gladesville. Friday night George Street under the bridge run - although I wouldn't look too hard too many hardcores ... but still you do see some nice cars
  10. God damn farken. Laughing at it will be about the healthiest decision you will make. Good luck from now on
  11. Eww sounds to me like you're better setting it to 10 kursed.
  12. It's ok Duncan I know who it is. I won't be naming them as I don't know for fact they installed my daughterboard. (Difference between fact and defamation.) Anyways it's all OFF TOPIC - on an ON TOPIC note I saw a green 200sx in traffic today with cromer exhaust centre stickers on it. I'm assuming it's the one you PM'ed me about Dunc. It must be fate telling me I'm goin to the right shop
  13. I thought even with intercooler and exhaust you still don't wanna run over 14psi on stock turbz? Running 12 so you have a good buffer?
  14. The screenshot you've posted is the whatever-bus connector/port for cd changers. I have no idea how you'd splice this from an ipod dock but the way you said seems possible. Ipod dock> rca> your cd thing Now - as far as I know the cd thingy (the connector in your photo) is proprietry. They all look the same but I've been told some are different. Unfortunately I'm not too sure about those as I've never had or played with a stacker. What I can say is that there is info on the net to make the ipod dock go to RCA. So if you can find the pin layout for your cd stacker connector and can make it into rca then you should be right. Barring that you could just do away with the RCAs if you could find the ipod dock connection and use a generic firewire plug in thing and do it direct (if ya get what I mean). For everything except making your cd stacker connector thingy into RCA you should be able to find in this section of the forum.
  15. Update: Going to Cromer Exhaust Centre on Saturday to get my brackets and extra muffler fitted. Blokes said I should get away under $250 absolute max. Hopefully they'll have a good muffler in stock so I won't have to come back the week after (they said it's a possibility). Damnit I'm broke this week and my credit card hurts : heh
  16. I dealt with Matt from UAS - he was very helpful and spent quite a bit of time helping me out with mine (unlike some peoples there who wouldn't give you the time of day cos they're too cool for school). Price was ok - better than dealing with the stooges at Crowie Nissan parts (stooge).
  17. Do'h I missed the original post! Oh well - that's bad luck s-2nd : Atleast they let you go on the license thing
  18. There are fat threads in this forum about this already!
  19. Try musicman (gareth) on nissiansilvia.com forum - he's offering v good prices. I'm getting some work done by him currently. Don't know if he does custom however but always worth a try.
  20. You're on the money there jb. [edit: you edited your post jbonevia? i thought factual information was ok since it's just fact.]
  21. I think they traded out of it but wrxhoon did put a very good case to me as to why they ain't that good. If you had a GTR or something you'd want a quiktrak and a ezitrack but the money is just too much to justify on my cefiro. I might just get a normal alarm/immobiliser and ask the installer to leave me an extra wire or two where I can fit a couple of my own little tricks heh heh. .
  22. Are you meant to mount that into the dash? I'm suprised it lists cefiro in there O_o
  23. I second/third that you will need all the same all around. I also think that if you're going to the trouble to get new wheels for him that they should be wider. 9" or 10" would look really hot, especially with a 235 or 245 width tyre stretched across them. I'm not sure about offset as I've never owned/fitted a skyline let alone a GTR!
