  1. I n asnwer to your question with someone that would be willing to fabricate the parts needed yes you could do it, finding that person that will do it for a reasonable price would be near on impossible.. i have the gear to do but do not have the time nor the money..

  3. Hey all, Just wondering those with chutes, were abouts you attached them too?? on the cradle? and if so did you make brackets to go around the 4 wheel steer mechanism or attach it somewhere totally different altogether? Any Pics or Advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers John
  4. The VH engine is also all alloy... the VK56 lost VCT got lower compression and a longer stroke... not good if ur after a high revving sports car type oriented engine... if u were after something for a burnout car then perhaps it would be a goer.. The biggest thing is cost and availability...
  5. if its the same one i have seen it is of a VH45DE with twins strapped to the side of it.. I continually hear rumours of these super high power VH and VK engines floating about, but am still yet too find any hard evidence of them actually existing... Im basically learning everything from my own R n D, The only others i am aware of are all in the build process still and are not yet running. I may infact give nizpro a call today...

  10. I used to just keep advancing it. take it for a drive each time, absolutely cain it all the way to the limiter and when it starts to ping back it off a little, dont worry if you've never heard pinging before... you will know what it is if it happens.

  14. The only reasons there is such stigma about ls1's in this country is because holden only put cheap parts in them. In the states theses engines are awesome, with the right gear they make huge power and quite simply no matter how u look at it, the bigger the engine is the more potential for power its as simple as that, so how can a 5.7ltr engine be worse then a 2.5ltr with the same accessories... Dont get me wrong i would never put one in a skyline... i too have a thing with keeping to brands... but still, To stand out nowdays you have to think out of the box... At Gold Coast AutoSalon the car that took out best nissan had a a farken 2J in it... now yes its cool and yes its different but how could it possibly take out that trophy....

  16. The guys in brissy with the 350 has been building that car since i was 14, last i heard he gave up. My engine, VH45 is all alloy and lighter than the RB and LS1, and makes 500+RWHP on only 11psi... these engines love boost, Currently organising another engine to build properly and stick more into it.

  18. YAY!! i can race, ill see u all there, PS car picked up ~130hp on methanol.... should make it very interesting.... Only problem is i suspect a cracked head.. Hopefully some Alum Weld or similar and a huge catch can will see it survive the nationals and Jambo.. if not its going out with a bang.. Hey adrian, we've got 3 cars going aswell... should see if we can all setup together..?
  19. Just a quick update on the car guys, still running ~10-11 psi, 1600cc Methanol injectors magnaflow 750 pump, and a new tune we've turned out over 500hp at the treads... time to take it back to the strip and see how it go's....
  20. dcanna PM replyed. Hey guys, i used to run a zex wet kit on my 25, with a 75hp shot of giggle gas. Engine handled without a problem. Went from a 15.8 down to a flat 14. Just make sure ur clutch is up to the task and go for gold. I ran the gas on the car for probably 18 months. the last couple of months before doing the engine conversion i intentially tried killing the engine at every chance i got but couldnt. They are very tuff little succers. and it still ran as good as the day i bought the car 5 years ago. Just dont forget to retard the timing a couple of degrees when its on the bottle and you'll be fine.
  21. awesome don, is it out in the new agents or are u a subscriber? i havent been able to find it.. update on the car, injectors arrived friday, 3 more bosch 044 pumps will be here end of the week, sticking the CF/fiberglass bonnet back on with Dzus Clips, methanol conversion and tune should be completed in the next few weeks along with a complete alloy dash, the it will be back to the strip to go for sick and get a whole heap of testing done before the nationals in september... Also i hear a rumor that there may be a class for it at jamboree this year neone else heard any more??

  25. Mate WHAT THE f**k?? Did u just blurt out everything uve been told by mates or some shit?? For starters any engine can handle positive boost as long as it is setup correctly and in the hands of tuner that knows what he is doing. Perhaps you would like to have a chat to my NA engine running 10.5:1 comp on 12psi thats making 300+ RWKW and tell it that it should have left a piston or two on the road... WTF... seriously mate dont spout shit if you have no idea what your talking about. As for upgrading brakes there are ways around that with QLD main roads ADRS, something along the lines of adding a bigger engine or turbo, the car will require 4 wheel disc brakes.... that is all.. so i would talk to your engineer or do a little more study aswell. Sorry for the rant but i hate that...
