  1. sent form and payment off today, then noticed its 100 entries in 4 groups, thats 25 on track at one time sent out in pairs!!!! going to be hard to get a clean lap
  2. or -9s, i've got -7s and i've seen GTRseans car with -9s go, go the -9s
  3. i hate it when people don't leave a location St Clair NSW
  4. stock R34 GTR turbos, off v-spec II $450 in good condition minimal shaft play and yes these are ceramic and ball bearing hks split dump pipes $450 with the port for R34 v-spec exhaust sensor hks stainless front pipes $450 hks super drager exhaust from r33 GTR $500 apparently they don't fit the R34 GTR the middle section is 2 inchs to long, it has a been hammered a bit where it goes around the rear bracing, other wise in good nick i have pics of the rest on the computer but it won't let me upload them, i'll post them when i figure out why
  5. R34 N1s and -7s are similar but not the same, they have different comp wheel and housing. gtr turbos all turbos are listed with specs here
  6. yeah i've got a multimeter, i can check the set i pulled out, do you know what to look for to tell the difference ?
  7. interesting, i just tested that theory on a brand new TD06-20G i have sitting in shed and not only did a pick up magnet not stick it actually was repealled from it,so thanks to john from UAS for that useless test. makes no differnce to the fact the turbos on my 32 still stock, the housing are stock size and the numbers match the factory listings, neither pair appear to be modified and from the history i have on the turbos its unlikely that both sets have been upgraded and both sets made same power, within 3rwkw of each other 4 years apart.
  8. yeah this /\ /\ , the r34 turbos are a completely different turbo to the 32-33, housings and wheels, still ceramic but due to the design of the exhaust wheel they can stand a bit more boost Thelen, do you mean the ones i have for sale?,only the NUR 34s get N1s
  9. pretty much a daily driver but i don't drive on full boost every where i go and general duties and track use it is on 15psi (261rwkw) and not much more then 1/4 throttle
  10. i have and have played with GTRs for near ten years, there is not much i don't know about them, i changed the turbos about a year ago with the pair that originally came with the car cause the bearings where floged out on the ones on the car( from half cut i put in in 2006 after spinning a bearing at wakefeild), the front housing is .42 and the rear is .48 and a magnet will not stick to the exhaust wheel on either pair
  11. i'm on toyo TQs drag radials(street legal i drive car from home to the track on them) and could go faster but am changing to second before the 60ft mark have gone high 125mph 3 times on 18s in a full wieght car with amps and a sub. Air con stopped working so it came out ( firewall forward ), sound deading came out at the same time and so did 2 of the 3 amps and the sub and still can't match the 125mph i only need to go .14 of a second faster then i'm done, if i can get back to the 125mph i should nearly be there
  12. 293rwkw on v-power and stock r32 turbos @ 1.3bar or 19psi for 5 years and still going strong ( i only use that boost for dyno and drags and do not do a burnout ), 300 on 34 turbos with E85 should be easy with the right setup and tuner. scott at insight has said if i go aftermarket injectors and E85 he can get another 20-25rwkw out of my setup the different design of the 34 turbos makes them stronger then the 32-33 turbos so they will handle a little bit more boost
  13. yeah it felt very good, nice and smooth and a 1.57 60ft didn't hurt it was tuned about 6 mounths ago at Insight motorsport to 293rwkw @ 19psi
  14. cheers, now if only i could find the few mph i've miss placed i might actually get my 10
  15. 31/8/11 r32 gtr 11.13 @ 123 mph, still on stock ceramic turbos
  16. thank you, you did really good to with a new pb and an impressive trap speed, that 10 can't be to far now,
  17. the fine for unregoed is $516 plus about the same for uninsured, how bad of a deffect would it have to be to be more then that? and no that wouldn't work as the regos are on a darter base that the police can check on there incar computers, most HWP have rego plate readers aswell now so they would proble already know if car was unregoed or not before they even got to your window
  18. yeah no dramas like Benm said it's another day we can go to and eastern creek is alot closer for most of us and at $250 it's a cheap day considering the extra fuel we would use just getting to wakefield, could you put a link up here to the entry form to make it easier for SAU members to entry.
  19. i to have received this e-mail, WTF how is that going to work? are they trying to do a shut out of SAU members or have they been affended by something SAU have done or said, either way it seems a bit silly to call it a lap battle between SAU and RENEW and then hold it at a WRX trackday
  20. what he said /\ /\ /\
  21. and what do you think these ones are? the difference is these will cost alot less then custom ones and the custom ones made here are probley a lower grade alloy, i had a set made for my trailer to change from ford to holden pcd and the neo tech ones i brought from ebay on the 34 are better and fit very tightly, pictured in link
  22. this question was basicly asked last week try looking. spacers question
  23. the 10cm has bigger rear housing for more topend power, the 8cm is more for response and max out at 330-350rwkw as the 10cm i've seen go 380-390rwkw
