  1. hahahaha yeah it lives up to its name "XKLABA" although i'm thinking I might change it to " VAGINA" cause everyone know the beating they can take
  2. I ran a wire from the back of the alternator, straight from the horses mouth so to speak
  3. thanks for this Scott
  4. 4WD skids, sweeeeeet
  5. +1 and location?
  6. I have a 200 cell "Metalcat" metal cat in my 32, i went to the drags and removed it and picked up exactly 0 from removing it, same time( 11.1) same mph ( 123mph) , so why would anyone risk the fine involved for a street car
  7. Insight motorsport at Arndell park are a distributor/supplier and have everything needed to fit them to the GTR
  8. frekn frek, I missed it again, was pissed until I got to Steve-Os post pointing out Texi is less then 2 weeks away and am happy again, woo hoo TEXI
  9. fark me, its the fast or the missed out round here
  10. looks good and the price would be ? who preped the crank
  11. what part of Sydney are you in, there is pretty much a tuner around every corner around here that can tune a PFC these days
  12. Good choice, no old tuner swears by them and says he can get a better ideal with them over the 600 Nismos I have in the 34.
  13. standard injectors on my R32 GTR ran out at 19psi and 293rwkw, I changed the pump and FPR, which gave me some head room, but when you change the pump in a R32 it is a good idea to rewire the pump as the 2 speed for the pump tends to fail, I ran a wire off the alternator to a 20 amp fuse then under the car to the boot to a 20 amp relay (using the stock fuel wire to trigger ) and into the standard plug at the top of the fuel tank. Higher fuel pressure helps with atomization so don't be scared to bump fuel pressures
  14. I had had the car 4 months and the guy I brought it off told me he had changed it about a year before i brought it, even so changing the foam is a shit job no matter how you look at it, even worse if you have to do it every year or so and if it does give up early you are in the same boat i was or worse, is it worth it. Just run a full or near full tank or a surge tank, personally I am not a fan of external surge tanks with the return line from the engine going to it and heating the fuel in the surge tank up, my surge tank is welded on the tank and is gravity fed with the return going into the top of the tank on the opposite side from the pick up
  15. My offroad race car had foam in the tank when i brought it and after losing 1st in class and 3rd outright cause the foam started to break down and blocked the fuel filter I swore I'd never use it again and custom made a tank with baffles and built in/under surge tank and haven't worried about it since
  16. good to hear been along time in the fixing, the pesty exhausts do it every time, to bad the guy that was meant to drop the exhaust the first time clearly didn't, cause if he had of this would have been sorted long ago
  17. sorry for digging this up from the dead, I have been searching for different pistons and came across this and have seen what went wrong. flat top pistons with a 0.254 deck height give a capacity of 1.49cc, not 15cc , so 1.49cc - 11.5cc ( for dome tops) = -10.01 -10.01cc effective piston to deck clearance 7.051cc headgasket volume 64 cc assumed combustion camber = 61.041cc 61.041 + 499.5 = 560.541 then divide by 61.041= 9.18
  18. does this mean skylines can have RB30dets as it is the same configuration just a different bottom end ?
  19. The second yes should be a NO, this isn't a Skyline only event, all are welcome (except that dam rex that spanked us at the last one ) jst jkn I am hoping to get to the bank this week and will send form at same time How many are entered so far
  20. north/north east where? kando or trust
  21. the outlet flange on that turbo is not T25 so finding a flange to bolt to the turbo is going to be the hardest part, you need to find out what bolt pattern it is and have dump pipe made the waste gate pipe that is there now is leaking, you can tell by the soot around the pipe, and that is with no back pressure as it is a screamer, so if you just weld it into the exhaust that leak will only get worse unless you find a way of sealing it properly
