  1. both factory 26s I've opened have had one with a 2mm restrictor and one blocked off
  2. sounds like your alternator is on its way out, if car is running the alternator should power everything and charge the battery. you will need a multimeter and check the voltage with car running

HD holden, gold, I was at oran park one day with the BSM guys ( GTR race team ) and heard a nice sounding rb pull in stuck my head out the door and no other skylines anywhere, but a very clean EH wagon with a older gentle man climbing out of it,after a quick chat it turns out he put a full GTR driveline in it with 300wkw
  4. in before it's closed, try searching and read what has already been written. what do you need to know, 320rwkws is easy for a 25/30, fordged piston and rods, cams, injectors and the correct turbo and then keep winding in boost till you get what you want or buy a rb26 a pair of -5s, poncams, 700cc injectors and a rb30 sump

  7. I ask cause if you have connected it where the standard boost control unit is it will not work and you will only get 10psi/ 60kpa

I found the "quick operating manual" for the evc6 1- on 2- pas (kpa) 3- S (internal gate) 4- max normal boost ( I see what you were saying now) 5- turn till the target kpa and set 6- offset (fine tuning for if the boost trails off up top) If that is what you have done and the lines are round the right way and connected on the car correctly then i would say its broken, there is not much else that it could be. how have you connected it into the car?
  9. what do you mean "max boost", I have EVC6 to ,not colour, and you have to set base boost at 58kpa and the EVC will work from there, if you have set "max boost" at 58kpa then it won't boost past that, I set max boost at 150 on both cars just it case of spikes in lower gears

  11. yeah this, I had same thing happen to me, which can be seen in a youtube clip of me racing DVS JEZ, was No2 piston broken and would only smoke on boost. do comp test to confirm and then rebuild
  12. I would suggest getting 4.11 or even the 3.9 when you do the lsd so you can take better advantage of the mountain of torque you would be making now
  13. thats good mate, have you removed the restrictor yet? I was running the same times in my 32 when i first brought it with similar mods minus the FM.remove restrictor,install and tune cam gears and finish the exhaust and you should see mid/low 12s
  14. lol I pulled my intake apart on my 32 for shits and giggles and found my missing 13mm spanner in the BOV return pipe??? !!!! 85kws is a big lose, maybe a hole in the intake pipeing or small hose come off, any black smoke under full boost?

  16. try edit and remove the pics, I have a nitro Cen Nemisis and a li-po Acme Dominator which take to the local BMX track for some massive jump, 9m double jump
  17. the motor spins clockwise so when you look at it from the front the crank should want to spin the bigend bearing tongue into the grove against the other half of the conrod, one on each side
  18. do a comp test and if it comes back good do what the other guys have said and spend the cash on something else and keep enjoying it. Don't fix what isn't broke and when it does break fix it properly 110,000kms in 4 years WTF, do you drive from Canberra to Sydney for work every day?

  20. I have both 32 and 33 coolers here and they are completely different core wise, the 32 will flow more but the 33 will cool better, I have a 34 one but that is still on car so can't say what the inside is like yet
  21. your welcome mate , any excuse to do a bit 4wd sliding , I always say " drive it like you stole it, service it like you love it " and after this one it's going to need some TLC before the next one. bring on sutton road, hopefully I'll have the 34 done for that one. GTR JOEY, hahaha yeah proble not, this car is a freak it just doesn't stop and given I rebuilt the motor in my garden shed i'm suprised it's still going given what I give it
