yeah the car looked close before i moved, that' spots a tight fit for two cars, and often there's usually not much distance between the two cars, i was just preoccupied and should've checked. i've definately learnt my lesson. it's not a long deep scratch, and could of been a lot worse it just pisses me off when people do this, i don't remember seeing that car parked on our street before. he had a good 50cm between the driveway behind him and his rear bumper ffs. i'll jump on the blower and call justcar and try to make them earn some of the $1700 i forked out on comprehensive insurance

not quite which section to post this (didn't want to put in wasteland cause i'm after serious answers lol) anyways, i walk to my car tonight and notice that the car parked behind me is very close (car was parked facing down a hill). the spot allows for two small cars and there are driveways on both sides. i get in, start the car, and release the handbrake and i hear a grinding noise coming from the rear of the car. i get out and look at my cars ass and there's a 2cm scratch probably 1mm deep (i know it's not the end of the world, but i don't want to pay for his mistake). i've checked the front of his car and there's yellow paint from my car on one of the screws on his numberplate, so i've taken photos of that and the damage to my car. i left a note stating what had happened, that i've got photos, the time, date and my name and phone number. i know it's hard to prove that he was the cause of the damage, but i was facing down a hill and had a driveway in front of me, so had no reason to reverse before heading off. legally is there anyway he can get out of not paying even if i have photos, purely because i wasn't there when he did it? i will speak to the cops and my insurance company tomorrow to seek advice, but i was just wandering if anyone else had been in a similar situation, and could offer me some advice on what i should/shouldn't say or do to increase my chances of getting money out of him cheers

cops are just wankers, simple i've never had a positive expereience with a cop, whether it be when i was in the right or wrong. i'm always polite and curteous to them but it doesn't seem to make any difference when i'm in the wrong they're always rude and demeaning when i'm in the right they're lazy and incompetant

well the topic says remap ecu r33 and his first post says 'got a remap for a r33 series 1 manual', so i think it's for an r33 acsplit - got a dyno print out of the remap in action?

they don't seem to be advertising the fact it's double demerits much any more. personally i'm trying to avoid driving until the dd's are over cause they'll be more cops on the road a client at my work got done doing 15k's over, her first offence a 6 points lost

pretty sure you can get booked without being phsyically pulled over. the fine for 'unneccessary acceleration' is rediculous, why does the government allow fast cars to be purchased in the first place if you can't give it a squirt. if it's in a dangerous manner in traffic fair enough, but just accelerating hard at the lights up until the speed limit, what's wrong with that?

got my Exedy 5 puk button kit installed by trent last week, it's awesome, so light and easy to use. was expecting something very heavy and a bitch to use in traffic if you're having trouble getting a hold of northern beaches performance on the landline, try trent's mobile (on website). quite often he's got an air compressor going or something and can't hear the phone. and i think he mentioned sam isn't working there anymore

dont think they done a feature on it yet only mentioned it's release, but happy to be proven wrong and pointed in the right direction so i can download the episode and i think you're pitching the idea of paying a little extra to get an m3 instead on the wrong forum
