  1. getting a heavy duty clutch installed at northern beaches performance today in my 33 gtst, think they qouted about $300 for approx 2-3 hours work. would highly recommend them, and it would be alot closer than drummoyne. why don't you just get a heavy duty clutch if you're planning on upgrading down the track?
  2. thanks for everyone's input, much appreciated talked my regular mechanic today (northern beaches performance) and he recommmended mick's motorsport, who trent has been dealing with for years. and he could install the parts needed (high flow turbo/440cc injectors/gtr fuel pump/LT12 etc) and get a decent price. but i can't find any real feedback on sau about them. all the other workshops mentioned seem up to par. i'll get on the blower, do some more research and then make a decision. i'll be sure to post up the results in this thread and the rb25 dyno thread cheers
  3. link doesn't work Blue_GTR - cheers for that. i'm heading up there on friday anyway, so might pop in and speak to them anyone else?
  4. yes i have searched, workshops mentioned were: hills motosport - alot of negative feedback hitman - rung him and he said he 'only really deals with high end ecu's (which i found very confusing as microtech is one of the ecu's displayed on his website) J.E.M - seem to have a good rep, anyone have contact info? croydon - had a bad exp with them looking to get a microtech LT12 installed/tuned in a r33 gtst. preferrably around northern beaches/central coast area, but not essential. would just prefer not to travel to a place where it takes 2-3 hours in public transport to get back to crows nest finally, does anyone nkow if i'll have to purchase the microtech coils or will my splitfires be ok? cheers
  5. hey, don't knock the show weeds, that's a mad show tolerance is a nice idea, but it will never work. prejudice and discrimination will always exist. being judgemental is something that alot of us try not to be, but no one can help it, it's human nature. couldn't agree more with the centrelink urine test idea, would make alot of lazy bastards contribute to society instead of mooching off it
  6. everything is cheaper in the US, better economy, more demand, where have you been the last century . i saw a videoclip of a salesman in th US making a sales pitch to an audience at some car show about the r35 gtr, and a guy in the audience laughs and says 'huh, 60 grand, for a nissan'? Americans don't realise how good they have it over there in some respects
  7. how much louder are we talking.? i had my exhaust tested, 84db, nice and quiet, but i'm about to install a high flow. i always knew it would make things louder, would an increase of 7 psi make a huge difference in noise?
  8. i'll take it . PM sent cuong nguyen can have the hand controller
  9. theres already 3 pages of threads about this.....
  10. i'm in need of a 2nd hand aftermarket ecu for my series 1 r33 gtst with all the accessories to fit, don't need a hand controller prefer power fc, link, microtech . can't afford haltech, autronic etc let me know what you got
  11. manual boost controller, gained an extra 15rwkw and a lot more response. but i'll probably change my answer once the aftermarket ecu, injectors, high flow turbo go in
  12. when something seems to be too good to be true, it usually is
  13. veyron does 404kph i think
  14. much sexier and could/should be faster than the veyron, but maybe not as fast as the SSC Ultimate Aero TT. love the black/red/carbon fibre colour scheme
  15. spotted black r33 with a veilside front bar coming the other way crossing the speed camera bit the same time as me on arterial rd st ives yesterday about 1pm. can't remember the plates, was too busy checking my speedo
  16. interested does anyone know of a web page that lists the features of this ecu (yes i've tried googling and the wolfems website)
  17. i spoke to a tuner today that recommended getting 2 high flow epa/carb's complaint cat converters installed to aid in the chance of passing emissions as opposed to 1. I'd never even considered it, anyone's thoughts?
  18. the porsche is slower cause it's driven by CEO's wives talking on mobile phones
  19. still for sale? what model link ecu is it? model specific or can it be used on a r33 gtst? what options/sensors does it come with?
  20. hey mate, are the blisteins still for sale 1. are you willing to post to sydney? postage price 2. are they height and damper adjustable? 3. are they adjustable to standard height? 4. what model are they? 5. how many k's they done? if unknown, condition - leaks etc?? 6. how stiff are they on the street? 7. do they come with spanners etc to fit/adjust? cheers

    E11v2

just out of curiousity, why would one choose an e11v2 over the e6x if they're only after a power goal of 250rwkw (eg high flow, 440cc injectors, fuel pump etc). i asked about haltech with my tuners and none of them mentioned the e6x for an r33 gtst. i checked the website, but i'm not very tech minded so i didn't really grasp the real benefits of the e11
  23. i still don't get what everyone is looking at , is someone able to photochop/highlight what i'm supposed to be looking at to make it really obvious. i didn't find the gcg link very helpful as the standard turbo in that pic is filthy and taken from far away
  24. dude, look at the date of the first post...... somehow i think the group buy is over
