S2 Xenon are D2R lamps @ 35w the High Beam are H3 i think, is stamped on the top plastic on the high beam i hope this helps. Also the Xenons may be dim because the lamps are dying. try getting new lamps and you will see a marked improvement,.

correct. you have to establish top and bottom limits.. i have found that if you just press the button untill the window is all the way down. then pull the button all the way up. the limits are set and the auto function will be enabled again\

yes the fan always runs, it is mechanicly connected to the engine, the clutch is a viscous clutch that once the car is at temp keeps the fan a a constant speed.
