  1. there isnt one in the pics. Only oil filter boss, lines, and core. Are they they actual pics of the kit?
  2. if only it had a thermostat.....
  3. sounds like r32 gtr calipers
  4. i recently purchased a twin plate OS clutch for my car, and when the engine builder had a look at it he sent it to the guys at ACS (Xtreme). Seems Tilbrooks fitted it to a rb25 gearbox/motor without changing the thrust bearing and carrier. Apparently there are a few different size carriers etc and thje guy said at ACS he sees it all time (ppl not fitting new bearing and carrier) Due to this the metal plates were bent 0.040" in my "95%" new clutch that i bought. Previous owner paid for the repairs (thankfully), now one plate was replaced, and other was machined. Also supplied with new bearing / carrier. Long story, but was your clutch fitted properly to start with??
  5. going to wind in some more boost this time wats??
  6. how good condition is the dash??
  7. Im BAAACCCKK!! PC shat it, so i let dialup expire, but im back now with BROADBAND!!! Details of car to come with list of items for sale. engine just needs manifolds bolted on, twin plate, and rb25 gearbox then vrmmmm - down to see Shaun at Boost Worx

  9. "Happy birthday, dear Timmmayyy"
  10. So i guess its all out war on the rb20 then Joel People can post here ideas they always wanted to try on the rb20, but were too scared incase they blew it up
  11. better start on that Mazda then Joel, cos ur gunna blow it on the dyno
  12. so could u fit one of these without doing engine gearbox mounts, or would it be wise to do them first, then this? Any downsides to fitting one of these?? Im doing the rb30 and its "supposed" to have in the region of 600-700Nm of torque. would it be wise?
  13. CHECK OUT THIS : http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=34114
  14. Ahh, im also interersted in this same question. Im instaliing the Rb30 hybrid, and would also like to know this, as well as what would be "overkill" ie engine mounts as well, maybe a rice "engine dampner". Would this stop flex in the drivetrain with the extra torque of the 30? Cheers:D As far as i know the gearbox one stops the stick from shuddering on hard launches. (stock mount is quite soft...well on the box i have anyways)
  15. The R33 series two onwards had the thicker section where it engages the crank. On the R32 (all models) and s1 r33's they had the same as the rb30. Could u compare a r32 oil pump phantom? See this :http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...hlight=oil+pump
  16. Yer - my backyard
  17. well its a matter of if its finished by then or not. The engines about two weeks away still, then it has to be fitted, checked, run in, then tuned. Damn Grepin, why cant ya leave a month later?? The rb20 is non existent (as per my avatar) so unless u wanna see the sigma on the rollers i wouldn't hold yer breath edit/ i could get me mates Vs ss Hsv optioned to come down if he's interested. Who wants ta take on the SS?? (its only 185kw so everyone could) (apart from Timmmayyy )
  18. This may sound stupid, but is the new diff "noisier" than the std. item? ie does it make noise / vibration through the car? I ask cos i read something about "interference" noise or something that the knock sensors can pick up. Maybe try swapping the old diff back
  19. Ahhh yer....maybe. Dunno. Depends if its run in or not. It'll have std trim, just the high flow rb20 turbs, so no wheel spinning action for me Might come down for a look though
  20. Hell yeah. Gotta see what the rb20 can do, before we can compare it
