  1. Did u receive my email summoner??
  2. Got any pics of the oil temp and oil pressure gauges? Do they come with fittings?
  3. I wanna get me camber done as well whatsisname. Where did u take your car to get done. I've seen a few tyre joints, but none seem "professional" in this area. ie I wanna take me car somewhere where someone else has been where they don't thrash your car and do a good job for the price. does that make sense?
  4. run the rb20 comp & loom - no need to build it with vct.
  5. How long is it off line for?? Oh i see - "Get us addicted, then ya jack up the price"..............."You win":)
  6. I think we all need to go round and slap hippy, and Enrico :slap:
  7. Who said anything about rb20's
  8. If your really that worried, do everything you can to eliminate the bad things eg. get gps tracking for your car (expensive, but u always know where ur car is ), Car breaking down? - Dont mod too far past stock. If u see a cop - have your car as close to legal as possible (stock height etc). It gives them less reason to pull u over. As for insurance....well....um....got me. Go for 3rd party and refuse to pay full comp
  9. Not too long. I'd say a fortnight at the most. All parts are in
  10. Roy, im just stating if u wanted a large hp motor (by DESCR8's desription are we talking 1000+ hp) why spend 30k + on a motor if u want to de-tune it for the street. And with comments like it seems someone wants to be Dyno/Strip/Street Queen. Mines bigger than yours PS id love to see it when it happens, and dyno figures.
  11. wait till mines done Reserve me a spot on that chart freebaggin when these babies are purring
  12. Matt can get insurance, now everybodys selling? "Please Explain??"
  13. Where talking in a normal world - not the same if your in your 20's racing everything on the street See, when u say this its when people say a 30k + motor (am i near the ball park here in cost?) won't last. How long do hi-po motors last these days? Or are u going to have a line of motors ready to drop in? Track work, strip, and regular street travelling is a huge amount of wear on an engine. not in Adelaide u cant
  14. [quote=DESCR8 besides who says im trying to build a car like kiers Jordan Umm - u did. + u said u wanted to drive it on the street, and race it on a track. No need to take offence there mate, were just stating it takes big $$ for the engine u speak of. Why dont u ask Sydneykid if he takes his 25K rb31 engine down to the track, stip, + drive it on the street to the local Maccas.
  15. Someone should tell Munro or Kier that they can drive their 9 sec. (or is it 8 now) gtr's on the street, and have it reliable. Someone else said it better - "I'd buy that for a dollar"
  16. Can i ask what ur budget.....um limit is for spending money on this engine? Then whats the point in spending 1500 on forgies, 2-3k on forged rods, 3k on a crank girdle etc etc.... then have it detuned to run on the street??
  17. Your probably going to get a few people asking "is this for street or strip?" and "Whats wrong with the std one?" That said OS Giken do a 3L kit. Cant u buy their crank/girdle? Nizpro also used to do the same job i heard, but dunno if they still do it. U must have $$ to spend to build a motor like that man Hope its not for the street cos it wont last long
  18. That's more what i wanted to hear. Have u done it b4 crack, and would it be the same in an r32?
  19. Someone from Adelaide has a handset in the For Sale section ATM for $100 (used) and they are from Adelaide. Happy spending
  20. Well done. A nice set of cams, and actuator should see the number go up
  21. u must have japanese hands Fat32 I found with my r32 to get to one thing usually required taking two things off to get to the next.
  22. Just a quick question, have u worked out the "average useable power" ala Sydneykid's reckoning?
  23. Its a pain in the arse to get to. It sits on top of the sump at the fron of the motor. Then in front of that is the camshaft timing pulley, which sit on a locating pin in the crank. Then the belt pulleys, or as FAT32 says the "harmonic balancer" which is also located with a pin. Both items on this pin must be removed with a "pulley puller"
