What other Dvd's are good like the High Perfomance Import series? Ive seen them, just wanna know ppl's opinions of other vids. Is the High octane series any good? Just dont wanna spend ~$30 to find out they are sheit. I dont have a fast computer, so I have to buy my dvds.

Howdy. I need a cheap car to get me to work while the Skyline is off the road. If anybody knows anyone selling sumthin cheap (say for around 500) please let me know. Preferably a Holden. (dont start I'd prefer a 'line but I just need a cheap car for a month or two.) Cheers

I betcha anything ya want when the half of us with cars out of action atm get them going, the other half whose cars are going at the moment will suffer some sort of problems.....

Would'nt trust those guys. Mate of mine went there and seen em bashing the cr*p outa someones bike with a large hammer trying to release a stubborn part. But other than that feel free to get your stuff worked on.

Has anyone answered the question of the stiffer springs for the rb25de head? Do they need to be upgraded if the engine (rb25de/rb30) would be putting out say 250-260 rwkw? What would be any benefits.

We all agree you can spend alot on engines. To decide what you want to spend money on, you should decide what / or how the car will be driven with its new power plant. In the end I guess its up to you

Turbo tune -BAH !! the previous owner of my car had his "100K service" done there and guess what - OVERTIGHTENED idler bearing bolt. I'm up the SH*T now with no ride coz of the bodge job they did

Keep trying different rev ranges till you find one that doesn't spin, and lets the turbo spool up slightly. I think on my car it was somewhere near 2k where the tyres stopped spinnin, an traction was best. :burnout: -

Funny you say about the irs in the commodores... I actually weld a couple of brackets onto the irs rear x member for holdens at my work. (No not the one that broke ) You should see the welds on them that COME from holden. OMFG, they must have an apprentice down there, coz in a rack of 11 x-members, I pull out 1 from every rack which has holes blown, incomplete welds etc. I mark em and they get sent back to holdens.

Hey man, we knew Dave's nephew. He still wouldn't let us take a car out, unless we "gave him some incentive" to get a test drive. What more can 18K cash of an incentive be??? Ps Hippy "its Hiep not Heip" (read above)

same story, wouldn't let me go 4 test drive - until i had signed papers! He goes "Last kid in here thought he could go for a thrash in the backstreet. He ended up walking back to get his car." Hey - im no ***n kid, and in my books taking a car to see if it drives ok, shouldn't be a hasstle - if you want my money.

could someone tell me what this clutch is : (I'm reading off receipt), h/d p/plate 850Kg 25% >load c/plate sprung, cush, button thrust bearing. This is from a receipt the previous owner had when he had the clutch replaced. I had taken out the gearbox the other day & it has a purple plate on the back. It is also the heaviest cluch in a skyline I have driven. I was told it was a brass button. any clues?
