  2. Well the main ones are the front and rear windows, the door (window) seal ones that run around the top of the door frame. Also the ones in the door that thew window slides up and down on - the ones that leave scatches in the glass when they wear. Maybe need a fast shot to show em all Then theres the rear 1/4 window seals.

  6. and the r32 rb26 head doesnt run vct either. oil/water galleries would be similar to r32 rb25de? Cylinder size is the same... Solid lifters are always a bonus..... Wonder if i should sell my fully rebuilt and ported head, and go the gtr head....? Depends...

  10. B1- i can get any parts that Noltec offer for around 20% off their retail. If i can secure 5 orders of the same item i can get a total of 40% off. For the rear they make upper control arm bushes (camber kit). Fronts they do control arm bushes, radius (caster) bushes/rods, engine mounts etc. Let me know what your interested in edit/ i'll look into doing another group buy this week containing control arm bushes and camber kits etc.

  12. Front pipe needs small mod to reach turbo due to it sitting higher due to motor. other than that any turbo exhaust. Most peoples, q's can be answered if they fit the motor, and see what has to be done.
  13. i put redline in the damn thing, and it seems to make some difference. After a while it got better to the point there is mainly bearing noise in 4th gear at 2500, and when decellerating in any gear. It sucks balls driving with the noise. It'll feel like a new car when i get the bearings finally replaced

  16. Thats wierd, because the noltec ones have crush tubes in them, and have a metal outer casing like the factory.

Cubes is the details man, more of a memory than i Bit of iffy area about what our comp ratio works out to be, as the engine builder worked it out to around 8.5:1, but cubes says he worked it out to be 9:1. And going by somethings (like the amount of timing we run ?) he seems to think it may just be.
  20. ok, well i'll point out if you are doing the rb26/30 conversion, you would be using the rb26dett head, which already has the front facing plenum from factory. gearbox etc, can be spaced down the same amount the engine is dropped, but ive been running my car without doing it with no vibrations, or problems. Turbo, i suggest whatever power you wish to strive for with the supported mods. Gt2835r or upwards (gt30r minimum), and a longer diff ratio. 25/10 is way too small like my turbo. On boost its useless, just wheelspin.
  21. Those black ones, look like a solid metal replacement for the std rubber bushes. If they are, it will be a noisy ride Dont know if they are the same as the ones Noltec sell. What are they made of?

  24. Cubes and i are using Wiseco rb25det pistons in our rb30det. They decked the block (20 thou?), and added a 3 layer metal head gasket, and compression works out to around 9:1 if Cubes' calculations are spot on Oil squirters are overrated. Do like SK says, ceramic coat the pistons etc if you run cast ones, or just run forgies and dont worry about it Having a piston sit down in the bore is dodgy, because its supposed to end its stroke flush with the top of the block. Otherwise compression, squish etc are all off. No one has mentioned about the rb26 head having larger head studs that the rb25. You need to retap the rb30 block out to bolt the rb26 head on.
  25. predator, just use any old grease you have lying around ie in a grease gun type grease. pack it into the end of the crankshaft (in the centre of photo 1) then use a socket extension with a 14mm socket on the end, or whatever is a snug fit down the end where u just packed grease into. Cubes popped mine out in 3 taps The grease gets at the bush from behind, and popps it forward, ie out. Then clean it out, and tap in the new.
