  1. depends on how mechanically minded you are. Some items require a wheel alignment afterwards, like camber / caster kits etc. Taking out and installing the actual bushes etc out at home can be done if you have a press at home.
  2. I can get anything out of their catalogue, so take a look. They basically have all bushings that the car has, you can replace with noltec items. They have caster bushes, adjustable caster bushes, and they have adjustable caster rods, engine mounts, camber bushes, control arm bushes (inner/outer-upper /lower), shock absorber bushes...etc They even make their own coilover shocks.
  3. Noltec dont list them in their parts list i have. sorry I can get other stuff for the r31 though. Ill add your name to the list, and when i have 5 orders i will ask for payment, then i can place the order. Once i have them, i will let you know, and you can pickup or i can post. So if you know anyone else with a s13-s15 or r33 tell em to buy a set, and i can send the order off when i have 5 orders
  4. dunno what the deal is, the r32 and r34 use the same replacement, but r33 uses the same as s13- s15 and z32. I could email the supplier and find out if your really keen
  5. looks like a veilside kit?
  6. no probs
  7. well z32 is the same as r32 gtst. I replaced my r32 gtst calipers with r32 gtr. offset is the same, except for the diameter of the rotor, which the gtst is 280x30mm, and the gtr is 296x32mm? So no z32 mounting is not the same as the 32gtr., its the same as the r32gtst
  8. Im only going by an old dyno sheet, so from memory my rb20 is a highflow, sort of like a t3/t4 hybrid thing. Similar, maybe a little smaller than the 2535 in sizing. The cc's move the power band of mine back to 1500 rpm, and still pulls past 6k. If it had cams/manifold, it would make more and rev a bit better, but the turbos too damn small. Minimal for the motor id say is a GT30 or similar. That, or drop your diff ratio as 1st gear is useless
  9. I got stung. RB25det box - It still selecteed gears, but it has bearing noise right at 60km/h in 4th and decelleration. There is no real way to tell, but if you buy it from a wreckers, ask, and im sure they supply them with a guarantee it works. Syncros in my box are the only real good thing, it selects great.
  10. im usinga 25det gb with bearing noise and its held up for roughly 15,000 kms no probs. The 2535 on it would suck balls, like mine. Full boost @ 1500rpm makes 218rwrkw on last tune, but should go higher. the rest of the parts is ok. if i did it over, id go 26det head.
  11. might be an idea to talk to Cubes, as he had his gtr injectors tuned up recently chris I think he gets around 11.1L/100 Km now. i get similar (with untuned base map) and im pretty sure it gets around 10L/100 km. (off boost mostly )
  12. List so far N92247 - 1. Me 2. neo32 3. gt-t_r34 4. Cubes 5. N92246 - CLOSED Only need a few more, as im getting 1 set for myself, and 1 for a mate
  13. I have now started a group buy for rear subframe mounts guys. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=106735 I can still receive 20% off on one off items, just pm me for how Or i can get ~40% off if you want to buy 5+ of the same item, or want me to start a group buy on anything else
  14. Noltec Rear subframe mounts I will be commencing a group buy as of now for the following items : N92447 - R32 & R34 rear subframe mounts N92446 - R33, S13-S15 Sylivia, 300zx Z32 rear subframe mounts. These are replacing the rubber / silicon filled rear mounts that wear over time and cause movement in the rear subframe. My r32 is a street driven car and under load (on boost) you can feel the rear end sort of squirm around. People normally fit the alloy type rear subframe bush, which just crushes down the factory worn item, resulting in increased vibration, and noise through the car as the cradle is now metal on metal. You can fit these noltec items, and still fit the typical "pinapple" urethane type bushes to angle the cradle for drift or traction. below is attached an expalnation of what i mean. Fitting of these can be done in two ways : 1. workshop can fit for you 2. remove rear cradle yourself, use a holesaw to cut out old bushes, then whack these in. Or do a search Noraml RRP on these is $266 from Noltec. If we can secure 5 buyers for each, i can do 1 set (4 bushes) for $155 Im in Adelaide, so pickup is available or postage will be +$6 around Australia. If more than 5 order i will place the first 5 order in straight away, and start a new list then the next list will wait till i have 5 on that one and so on. End date : 2 months from now = 21-4-06 thanks
  15. What the difference between this guy who wants to turbo a 2.5Lt NA motor, and the guys who build the RB30det motors? The vl guys have been turboing them for years. You use a 3Lt n/a bottom end and a dohc head, slap a head gasket in and work out what compression ratio you want to run, determined on what you want. In my case it was 9:1 (cubes' calculations ) This guy wants to do the same thing basically, and it'll take the same fuel/computer etc. mods. The only point here is if you do it, your up for the small extras the turbo cars already come with, like brakes. ps - cometic gaskets are like $250. I run a 3 layer metal gasket meant for the rb25 in my motor.
  16. Anyone else got anything?
  17. i though the adr's stated that the cop had to stand at the side of the road, on a 45 degree angle, and measure your noise, while you drive past doing the speed limit? Id be filling out a complaint about how the police are enforcing the adr's that they are supposed to be following.
  18. well, i say your kidding if you think they dont. If people are smart and dont post anything personal on the open forums then they have nothing to worry about. Just like anything u write online i spose
  19. Nope. Its still doing the same thing. Im going to pull the compressor off and have it rebuilt. Other stuff has come up, so ive had to live with no a/c I'll report back when its done and on the car
  20. the only reason im going from 4.3 to 3.9 is because the 3lt makes 1st gear useless to drive. Take off, and change straight away. The 4.3 means accelerate, 3.9 will give taller gears.
  21. yes you can. I want to go from my r32 (4.3) and fit a 3.9 s13 ratio. Ill be using the nismo 2 way centre, r32 axles and housing ... need to find a 3.9 first
  22. thanks remebered you said something like that. I spose the 3lt wont have any problems with the power coming on a little less if it had a plain bearing.... Im keen to hear how disco's version goes;)
  23. ive got 6 second hand rb25de injectors. (out of an r32) If you want em, you can have em, just name what you want for em.
