  1. I just used high temp / high load stuff that wont melt, and go into the clutch. Just a light smear will do.
  2. Tie rod ends can be bought from Pedders. From memory they are around $32 a side. They come with a grease nipple under the bottom too, unlike the std items, as well as a new pin, and bolt.
  3. got the speedo cable?
  4. alright, im gunna give the castrol a go. Its way overdue for a change, so i'll see what happens... How much is the SAF-XA?
  5. How much for the speedo cable? Its the one that runs from the gearbox to the back of the dash. Postage to Adelaide....
  6. Try taking the cover off, and see if the tape inside would be easy enough to get it out. U may have to wind the tape back on a bit though. Shouldnt be hard.
  7. i think i got an old thrust bearing lying at home. I can check for ya, and let you know by monday if ya still want it.
  8. ive got a pair of 32 gtr front guards if u want em. They got some damage on em, but it can be fixed. Nothing serious. Im in adelaide. I'll sell em for $200 for both left and right front
  9. Apexi make a dual cat back system. Ive got a custom catback -2x2.5" pipes to 2x 3" mufflers. It works out to about the same as a 3 and 3/4" single pipe. It is quieter, and doesnt drone. A 3" should be good to 300rwkw, a 3.5" to 350+ but over that id want to flow at least a 4" (or split 3") system.
  10. Or..... Im looking at doing a GB for Noltec bushes for the front and rear of skylines this week coming. I'll have prices etc this week. It'll be around $155 for a front camber kit (8 bushes + offset crush tubes for a 20% discount, or if i can get 5 buyers around $130 They are a blue colour bush too. Or i can get a whole replacement upper arm which is also camber adjustable, but more expensive. Its about $570 for the front upper pair, or $450 if i get 5 buyers or more FAT32 knows i can get some cheap stuff...
  11. Coils They get worse the more the car heats up. Mine does the same. Clean out the coils as well, ie up the boots where the contacts are, and try the dodgy fix up in the maintenance thread.
  12. Cubes and myself saw a rotary with a large highmount turbo (read gt42?...it was frikkin huge) and the guy had it on the dyn o for a few hard runs, then he took off up the street a few times. The guy came back, and shut the car off and opened the engine bay. Cubes and myself were looking at his turbo bag on the car. You could actually go and put your hand on the thing it was that cool. When my setup is finalised, i'll be using a mixture of all the things. Ceramic coatings dump and manifold, wrapping the pipes, and using a turbo bag.
  13. Pack and send are sheit. They charged me $20 for a crate to pack a diff in to send to Sydney. Then $110 for delivery. They then had to pickup the changeover diff in the same box, and return it to Adelaide. Another $110 I got a call saying my package was here. I go down there, and they have unpacked my stuff, and i have a diff sitting there, and no crate i payed $20 for anywhere in sight. Last time i heard it was illegal to open other peoples mail.
  14. why would u bother, r32 ones are like $32 form Pedders...
  15. only allowed to have white, and orange lights facing forward, and red facing the rear. No good comparing yourself to emergency vehicles, as they are a law unto themselves. imho......gay
  16. its one of the 2 smaller lines that go into the rservior. The one that comes back from the steering rack. Just jack the front of the car up, disconnect the line. Start the car, and turn the steering left to right. As it goes down i flush it with new stuff. Dont let it get dry as it can stuff the pump and sounds awful. I just do it with a few litres so i know all the stuff in there is fresh. Turning the steering also bleeds the air out as well.
  17. Im getting around 10L/100Km atm out of an untuned pfc. I cant run it up on boost, due to the coil packs wont take it (break down and piung like a bitch) Its makes hella fuel economy as everyday driving is under 3500 rpm.
  18. the only real time i find my nismo 2way getting on my nerves is in the servo carparks with the shiny concrete. Then it squeaks like a biatch. Id only replace it with the gtr mechanical, a 1/1.5 way or the s15 helical centre. But i like the way it is now
  19. guys this thread is a year or so old, so the photos Clint had on his car are probably long gone off where he was hosting them. I dont think hes been around much since he had his car tuned...i havent heard from him
  20. ive been driving with a box with shagged bearings for around a year... If it comes to an end, i guees the bearings will break and smash the syncros. Basically destroy the damn box. I dont like the idea of anything floating around in their. If you leave it long enough, worst case is like me...
  21. www.busfreight.com.au i sent a catback exhaust to Qld for $50 They can pickup from your house for $6 and will drop to the other guys door for $6 Its the greyhound buslines. They leave everyday, and can pack yer stuff too. Worked out cheap for me
  22. Added. Other gb will be a few days off
  23. mine can rev...all the way to 7k on std cams. Bite me anyone who says they dont rev.
