  1. So no one here has an answer to the application of aftermarket options/alternatives to the NVCT/Camgear arrangement??
  2. Well then what's your favourite neon colour?
  3. Well, being my first topic, I'm gonna try my best to not ask a "St00pid n00b" question.... I've been looking at several posts on the forum in regards to tuning the RB25DET NEO, and in a more focused sense, I'm more concern about the camshaft/camgears direction.... I can't afford a camshaft at the moment, but I can easily afford camgears and a tune... So firstly, It is well known to me that the Rb25DET NEO utilizes N-VCT, and from what I've read, many people change the exhaust cam gear only... I've also read that there may an 'adjuster' of sorts available... As per this post from another thread: Also, wanted to take maximum advantage of both aftermarket camgears AND N-VCT, I found this on wiki: So if some aftermarket (HKS) systems were available for the RB26DETT? Would similar systems be available for the RB25DET? Also, does anyone have any experiance or knowledge about these 'adjusters' and aftermarket options and whatnot? Info would be much apreciated... A few more questions: 1: What benefit would I see from my engine (RB25DET NEO) from either both or just exhaust camgear on a stock motor? 2: What benefit would I see later on with a camshaft fitted (preferably a mild one, with a bit more lift, but good idle) working in conjunction with my camgears... 3: If I bumped up my boost to 10psi with camgears, would I see much benefit with the two changes together? 4: Is there much difference between makes for cam gears, I hear some people like HKS whilst others use OS Giken, I've read that GReddy make a more durable camgear...
  4. I concur, I got my R34 from Autoworx and I was more than happy with the advice, service, proffesionalism and knowledge of the Autoworx crew, kudos to Paul. Very easy to do business with and I'm a very happy vegemite with the GTT. I'd definately go back to Autoworx without batting an eyelid, and I'd recommend them to anyone.
  5. *Raises Hand* Yup, I concur... I'd like to see two middle eastern GP's tho.. What happened to Dubai? Also, two Japanese Grand Prix? Suzuka and Mt Fuji! F**K YEAH!
  6. MMMAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe how much of a sour-puss Alonso was on the podium and in the interviews.... Spoilt brat! Also, Hamilton "We'll catch him soon...", Arrogant spoon-fed rich-kid...
  7. Interesting article.... http://www.f1-live.com/f1/en/headlines/new...512122042.shtml 20 GP's next year... I reckon that is good for F1...
  8. Nice work mate, at 17 I was putting around in a non-turbo, automatic VL commodore.... Welcome bud, and take it from me, try not to loose your license again, and don't do burnouts...
  9. No offence, but I wouldn't mind seeing Monaco off the season list.... Keep Silverstone! Bring back the twin German GP's! Oh yeah, Singapore has been confirmed for 08 as well! If anything, I hope one day we'll see Zandvoot again, great racerack!
  10. Do you find having twin pod filters helps much? What do you think would be the increase in power/turbo psi compared to a single pod and/or stock setup? Better breathing I'm guessing...
  11. I read something on F1 live that BMW 'dummied' the car a little bit. Harder compound tyres, increased ride height and brought the motor's max revs down, apparently it could still do 300km/ph, but cornering and high speed balance/grip was lowers so it wouldn't be so 'dangerous'.
  12. You've got a twin pod set up then?
  13. If I had three grand to spend, I'd be buying be a set of Work Meister's..... *dream*
  14. I head there is January! Southboud, wineries, chocolate & cheese factory, the surf and the ladies! You lucky sods!
  15. Do NISMO themselves make an aftermarket fuelrail? I was thinking of getting some 600cc squirters in my pursuit for 280kw...
  16. I bet with that last name he got teased as a kid! Go Chris Vermullen!
  17. If it were R33 or R34, I'd go RWD version, I dunno what the go with the RB20's is the R32's... If they have the same engine (Rb20DET) then go the GTS-4.
  18. I was just brainstorming, but yeah, I get your drift...
  19. I'm guessing with the NISMO one you can't install a pressure gauge and a warning light/device?
  20. Either that or they better change that livery quick smart, that is a f**king atrocity!
  21. Zed? 300? or is it an old school Datsun baby?
  22. Bring Tiff back to TOP GEAR!!! Yeah I dunno, along our 'V8 championship' I'd like to see a parallel series that includes the likes of the GTR, 350Z, NSX, S2000, RX7, RX8, WRX's, EVO's, M3's, A6's and the likes... REAL racing machines...
  23. Sometimes laws or motions can be passed in an 'unconstitutional manner', look at what is going on in WA here with our daylight saving shennanigans, the National party is crying foul and deem the manner in which the daylight savings 'trial' *cough* iron ball & chain *cough* was passed through parliment... I don't know the technicalities, but I wonder if all these silly road laws have some 'loophole' in which they can become 'untangled'. I'll have to flick through some of my sister's law stuff, I know a thing or two, but she's the lawyer... 15+ years ago??? Am I missing something??
