After being a 'no so' proud owner of a VL commodore. I can say this much from what I've seen on Justcommodore's forum. The RB30 doesn't like going much past 6500 RPM. I could only advise getting a new crank, stronger ends/mains and somehow reinforce the bottom end, I don't know the exact term, but I know Mine's tuned RB26dett strengthened the bottom end of the RB26, if you want the RB30 to go past 6 1/2k, then somehow your going to have to do something similar... big $$$$'s from what I can gather....

Not mention well founded, as much as Schumi made a few mistakes in his career, he was very gifted, very quick and had more cajolies than the rest of the grid put together. His only worthy rival, Senna aside, was Mika, I really liked Mika, but I love Michael. F1 will not be the same without him, much rests on Kimi and Massa now for Ferrari's prestige and overall future..

Funny, in the VL, retarding the cam one tooth and 8 degrees made a massive difference for power when included with even minor mods. About 92kw stock at the wheels, with K&N air filter, twin hyclones, performance extractors, 2.5 exhaust/hi flow cat and an ecu remap, power jumped to an unbelievable 128kw at the wheels. Nothing amazing for Skylines but it made a world of difference for the VL, completely different car to drive... It looks here as if the opposite is true...

$20k. Send the motor to Mine's tuning in Japan and get twin HKS sequential turbochargers with a big intercooler installed with the worked engine..... yum...

Wouldn't advancing the cam give you more torque and quicker spool time? As advancing the cam allows the valves to stay open longer, hence more fuel and air can get into the combustion chamber, and also, it allows exhaust gases more time to escape from the cylinder, leading to better breathing abilities, hence more power and less heat generation?

Have you put GTR running gear on it? ATTESA?

Yeah bro, I'm Perth and this GTT happened to be in the Northern suburbs.. There was one in Adelaide with sunroof, finding what I wanted was hard, 4 door, manual, GTT. The convenience of the car being in Perth (plus, reduced costs) made me have to for-go the sunroof... Oh well, it ain't a big deal, I can always just keep my eyes peeled for a trade-in a few years from now...
