  1. hi all. i have for sale a hks?(no brandings) manifold to suit rb26dett, low mount in factory position. manifolds are USED. missing 2x bolts from balance pipe. located at penrith, sydney asking $600 ono will post at buyers expense if you want photos, reply, or pm your email address, and i will forward
  2. turbos are now mine. YAYYY!! cant wait to try them out. thanks chris
  3. pm sent veeeeeeerryyyy interested. hope to hear from you soon
  4. +1 for compression test. excessive bore wear can lead to fuel going past rings washing the bore walls, then into oil. if not doing yourself, make sure the workshop does dry and wet testing. good luck with sorcing the problem
  5. do these fit under 17" wheels? if so, i may be interested. definately something to think about. let me know. thanks.
  6. hey, nice seats. checked them out today, wish i wasnt too big(damn that fast food) good luck with the sale thanks mate
  7. i'll definately try and make it. been trying to get to the track for the last couple of months(and i live in sydney). last time, done 13.1, with a bad start, and im going to be trying to better that. hope to see more people there...
  8. i can see where the limitation of lowering/raising of vehicles will be beneficial to new cars with dsc(dynamic stability control and the like), as engineers have inputed alot of data, and the car behaves with specific height and sprin rates. i dont really see the difference its going to make to most cars that are sensibly lowered. i think the current rules of 100mm to road, 1/3 suspension travel, and 600mm to headlights is still quite effective. and as for the news articlle, it does read as mods after the date will need approval, will they have to prove the lowering was done after the date, or will we be guilty until proven innocent with recipts for work? as othrs have mentioned though, most of us are probably driving around in defectable cars anyway, so whats the difference? you can still get your rego cancelled for other defects. just keep a set of standard struts handy, swap them for the inspection, then swap them back. easy
  9. i cant wait to see this thing finished. one helluva build up. and alot of skill involved. keep up the good work.
  10. im in, last time my timing belt tensioner collapsed now its running, and painted just let me know, when and where
  11. pretty sure gtr/gtst diff internals are different. outside may be the same though... standard diffs are generally classed as 1 way. hope this helps.
  12. i doubt mine is modified(apart from 235/45r17's), sits at around 3000@100km, then around 3200@110km ill have to see if i can get someone to record it with my phone.
  13. dont know, but 4.11's are 3100 at 110km, so im guessing around 3300-3500ish???? eng rpm x gear ratio x diff ratio x rolling diameter isnt it?

  23. im probably looking at around the mid 3's, so r34 gears would be good. i want taller gears to drop the rpm of freeway travel, and try and get better economy not overly bothered by the fact itll have slower pick up, hopefully some mods will fix that so, anyone have r34 gtr front and rear gears for sale???
