  1. thanks for the info guys. i might give to standard gaskets a go. then, if/when they go bang, we'll have the answer for anyone else asking. after all, it'll just be some labour im missing out on...
  2. Try and get a workshop manual. It will have proper bleeding instructions. The r32 units can be bled, but by the sounds of it, I think the unit has seen better days. Good luck with it all.
  3. Hey guys and girls. Just wanted to give some initial feedback to my bendix street, race, track pads. Put them on with some dba 4000 rotors, and they seem ok. Good initial bite when cold(after a bed in period). But so far seem very dusty. Could be the slotted rotors, but I now have a nice brownish/red layer of dust on my front wheel. Tears are running firehawk(i know I know) and don't seem anywhere near as dusty. I am getting squeal from either front or rear. Schamffered all pads, went away for a while. Might have to do it again. Ok, that's my little rant, will keep updating as I start to use them more after my engine rebuild.
  4. Hello all. I used the search function, and still couldn't fund the answers to my question. If a topic exsists, please point me in Tue right direction. Now to my question... What are the boost limits in STANDARD rb26 inlet manifold gaskets? Looking at going to higher boost soon, but don't know if I should upgrade to steel gaskets. My engines apart at the moment, so would be Tue ideal time to do it, but don't really want to spend the money if not necessary. Looking at going to approximately 30psi. So, what have you run without dramas? Did everyone just change their gaskets? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Luke.

  11. Sorry, buy probably won't be able to participate in this group buy. Spun big end, engine takes priority. Will see how I go, but don't expect miracles.

  21. i dont know... ...pretty sure i spun a big end yesterday, so my car might be out at work. going to have to ride the r1 down. CRAP, just remebered, i wanted them to price up my strut to mount plate bushes. what do you do?
  22. why???? every time i have an event i really want to make, something goes wrong with my car. yesterday, sounds like a big end bearing... going to try and slap a new set in before the day, and hope for the best.... WISH ME LUCK!!!!!
