  1. that figure should be for the nuts. The aids you do up until they're just over finger tight.
  2. ive had the chassis for about 7 years.i keep meaning to buy running gear, but always have other stuff id rather spend the money on. will start collecting bits soon.
  3. I need radio gear, and engine and pipe. then im ready to race.
  4. if possible, post pics of the set up. is it a clock spring, or the steering angle sensor?
  5. the most important thing with ecus, is they do what you want them to, and the tuner you use can tune them. tick those 2 boxes, and youre laughing.
  6. if its brand new, there should be a slight resistance. takes time to free up. so long as it doesnt feel like its binding, you should be ok.
  7. this.I wouldnt go any other ecu after owning one.
  8. thanks, I love the fact I can just grab the phone out in situations like that, where you see something you just think should be captured. alot lighter then carrying a dslr everywhere.
  9. new day, new month. heres one from my phone this afternoon.
  10. any big carpark late.
  11. if its stock, blueslip. if modded, will need engineers, then blueslip.
  12. welcome. glad to hear youre enjoying your car.
  13. have pro plug in. awesome ecu. has alot of expansion features. I believe better for the car then the ps2000. but, if swappin it to another car later, ps2000 is probably a little easier on that front.
  14. welcome Jason. when you can, post some pics. in regards yo the manifold, perhaps check out the NA section? good luck with the search.
  15. they have prbably moved onto parts only to make more mark up.
  16. welcome pete. even if you dont own one yet, this is a great place to read up kn the car, so you know what to look for when buying. if you do own one, please, post pics.
  17. all sounds pretty normal for a 20+yr old car. rubber seals get hard and start to leak. coming from the top of the engine, should only be cam cover seals. the gearboxs wear 2/3/4 synchros, so thats normal. brake and clutch fluid are easy ones. and the steer rack leaking, how bad? the engines are pretty tough. if not taking it to yhe track, the short nose crack isnt that bad. mine withheld 4yrs of spirited driving. ended up failing due to oil usage and me not checking the the level. if that happens, save your pennys, and throw in an r34 motor. or, if going for big power, rebuild. either way, youll end up loving the car. dont know a gtr owner who hasnt.
