  1. They would dial (I'll use a random mob no.)+61418664854 Your international roaming will then redirect the call to your phone on whatever roaming network you are on. Please bear in mind that you will be paying for the call as well when receiving on international roming. The zero is there to let the phone network know that there is no pre-trailing area or country code to be added (as in Aus we dial area codes 02, 03, 07 etc) but when dialling a land line from overseas the 0 in the area code gets dropped eg STD dialling code followed by, 61 then area code eg 2 then phone no. XXXXXXXX. 0011 in Aus is to be used when dialling internationally from a land line. The + symbol on a mobile phone does this automatically. Hope this makes sense
  2. Try what he is suggesting. The attesa system also uses the abs senses on each wheel to sense the wheel speed. As suggested earlier, it may be thinking that the rear wheels are slipping as they are spinning slightly faster than the fronts. Are the new tyres all from the same batch? Check the rolling circumference of each tyre. You can do this youself, by putting a mark on the sidewall, roll the tyre one full circumference and measure.
  3. What do you mean by wavy? If the people painting the fibreglass know what they are doing it will turn out fine. Carbon fibre can be painted over to match your car. If you know how to metal work, modify your bonnet yourself after looking at the fibreglass/CF ones, otherwise be prepared to pay big $$$ to get this done out of metal.
  4. Try going to http://www.fc-datalogit.co.nz/distribution.html Contact the Australia Distributor on there or NZ direct. Alternately call on the Australian tuners on the list, they might be able to help you out.
  5. Seeing you got it from Pablo101, there will be no sewing required. It already has the wire in it. Just undo the screws for the centre console, pull the old boot out and push the new one in. It doesn't take long at all.
  6. Send pablo101 a PM on here. He does group buys for leather 32 and 33 skylines plus some other models. He may get some made for 34's. They are a straight swap no stitching required. The wire is already in place.
  7. Off Topic Yeah goes quite nice. Scares a lot of people he takes for a ride in it. Best thing is he hasn't even cracked the engine open yet.
  8. Found out: Racetige www.racetige.com.au Nick 0433 269 014 Off Captain Cook drive at Taren Point Apparently he works on Jim Richard's Porche Cup Car plus other ones.
  9. I'll try to find out for you who my brother went to on the weekend if you like. The guy does the setup for some of the Porsche Cup cars. I think he is at Taren Point
  10. Off topic: My Brother has one that we built. It goes quite well. Can fry the tyres too.
  11. Fire Up!!! Sorry mate if I wasted your time, as I said in my first post it wasn't my car and I was getting 2nd hand information. Once I knew what questions to ask him, I was able to get the right info from him. I don't know the attesa system, so I didn't know what to ask him about, hence why I posted in here. That's the original idea of a forum - to share info and learn.
  12. They could be registered business now. From that link it was a sole trader/individual ABN that was cancelled. They could now be setup as a company and have a trading name of sliding performance. Being a sole trader can be risky seeing that you have unlimited liability. As R31 nismoid said, they are a paying registered trader on the forum. I have dealt with them a few times with no problems what so ever. Hope you get your parts
  13. I believe that is correct. The bonnet catch is one. If you have bonnet pins then you are fine (being a 2nd) and not relying on any part of the bonnet catch. I have also seen a nylon rope or strap used as a secondary fastening system from the radiator support panel to underneath the bonnet
  14. Looks like he was on the right track. I'll let him know. Thanks for the info
  15. Thanks for that. I just spoke to him. He said that both the 4WD and LSD lights come on. With the flashing LED he said that it gives off 5 slow flashes then 7 quick ones. If someone knows what it means could they let me know. I'll do a search on here also (so far haven't found anything matching the code it listed, which I believe is 57?). One of the mechanics he got to look at it seems to think it could be the ABS sensor. He just wants to be sure before forking out money for a new sensor.
  16. Thanks, would be good to see how you did it
  17. Thanks for the answer.
  18. So are you going to answer the question or not? This is not a full time dedicated track car yet! (working towards it). I am already stupid enough to run around playing sport in the heat, doesn't mean I have to drive in it too after being in it all day.
  19. Would this go in place of the Air Con pump or would it be possible to keep it? If this is possible then I'm interested.
  20. Talk to NYTSKY I believe he bought some for his car recently to rebuild the engine
  21. Just the engine at the moment.
  22. He couldn't find them. Thinks he gave them away with the intercooler. Sorry.
  23. Do you just use chain to attach the hoist to the engine or use an engine tilter? Where are the lift points on the RB26 engine and how do you attach it? Thanks
  24. Thanks for that
  25. anyone? Will a 1000KG crane and 900KG stand do?
