To be clear, what I need is a set of these in 18x10: Would they be able to work off a photo like that? Where are Braid based? Do you have a contact? Cheers!

Is the entry fee per car or per driver? And can we pay for passengers on the day? -
Does anyoone recognise the logo on the front spoiler in white? I believe it says "COCKPIT" but don't know who or what they do and where to find that logo. It's the only one I'm missing! Car is still at the tuners, f**king sick of it sitting in workshops!!! Thanks for that, brakes are at the machinist now so I'll be looking for parts very soon. Might start out with some supercar teams to see if I can some cheap rotors or pads just to start off with. From what I see they aren't the rim I'm after but thanks anyway Saw these on a lancer the other day though and they look close enough! However there's no f**king way I'm putting Starcorp wheels on my car so I'll just keeping looking for LMGT1's

Used F6 Ute Or New Xr6T Ute

Over on the XR6 forums I've heard the FG's are known to have a number of issues. do you think it would be a risky purchase buying an F6 or XR6t out of warranty? Would only be looking at something with under 30,000 kms, but I don't want to buy a lemon! any idea what the brembos would be worth? -
Fpv Tornado Or Holden Ss-v Redline Utes

Sorry to bump an old thread, just wondering how you're finding the F6 Ute after a few years? Need a ute for work and narrowed it down to either a E3 Maloo R8 or and FG F6 much like yours. Drove the Maloo yesterday and was impressed with the handling and the noise, but I think I miss boost a little too much! How do you find the handling with the live rear axle? -
Thanks for the reply. The reason I ask your opinion is that out of the three tuners I have spoken with, two of them have been adament about using either an eflex sensor as Caltex and United's ethanol content can wildly vary, or sourcing from a racing supplier to ensure the ethanol content remains consistent. So basically what your saying is that regardless of variations of ethanol content, one tune on United e85 is enough to cover the variation in ethanol based pump fuel, and the variation in ethanol content won't damage my engine regardless? EDIT: This is for a track car only if that makes any difference. Also don't plan to be running huge amount of boost either.

Looking at running the SSCC club sprint next weekend at eastern creek. How much track time can I expect?
-
Wasn't planning on it. What colour are they usually? Is it something I can do myself, or what would it cost to get them powdercoated?
-
Got em off a fellow SAU'er, they're off a V8 Supercar. Looking forward to ejecting myself through the windscreen when I stomp on them

As I'm the final throes of getting my car ready for the track, I've been looking into upcoming events to get some track time. For the most part, it seems like I can get away with the cheaper and easier to obtain AASA licence, as the SSCC Supersprint at SMSP only requires AASA, and as far as I can tell so do most other supersprints and club track days. So what would I need an L2S for? Apart from being more expensive, it's also a pain in the ass to obtain. What's the benefit?

Here's the GKTech Ganadors fitted. They look shithouse You can only kind of tell in the photo but they are completely misaligned. any ideas on how I can get them both to sit at the same angle?

Transmission Lubricants

Currently refilling all the fluids in my race car as it's been sitting dormant for a few years. Just trying to work out quantities and fluid choice: Engine Oil: I have a hi-octane extended sump, so I imagine I need about 10L? Diffs: I have 4L of smurfs blood ready to go gearbox: I guess I need about 4L? What do you guys recommend? Gearbox sounded healthy last time I checked. transfer case: don't think i've ever changed the fluid in this. Castrol Transmax Z appears to be the way to go. how much do I need? Am I missing anything? -
And last but not least for today, a box! Who can guess what's in it? . . . . . . . . . . . . . It's gigantic f**king brake calipers! Hurrah!
