I am now logbooking my car as a 3D sports sedan. For super sprints and just regular track days, will I need to wear a flame retardant race suit and gear? Or can I get away with long sleeves etc?

Hey guys I have an almost new set of Buddyclub P1 QF's for sale. These rims are in perfect condition with no nicks or scratches. Specs: Buddyclub Q1 PF 17 x 9 5 x 114.3 PCD +22 offset Super light forged rims Photos attached. $1200 Will consider swap for 18' white rims.

Are they stretched too much? I can get some very cheap 245's hence the question. Ill check out ebay

Are 245/40 too small for 18x9.5 rims?

Latest update here is that the car is now going to be a dedicated track car. I've decided I'm going to run my current setup until I get acclimatised to circuit driving and then start chasing power. However as far as engine safety is concerned, I am still running standard injectors, and have boost set at about 15psi (around 230kw I think?). Are the standard injectors a danger here? Also I don't have a surge tank. Is that a big concern at that power level? When it comes to tuning the car, it looks like I will definitely go down the E85 route. However would there be any benefit of switching to -5's? I understand they are more laggy but would that not matter when I'm into the revs on the track? What about a single turbo? What is generally the best turbo(s) for track work?

I might start off with that as I don't think I'll be getting the full potential of new semis just yet. How do you find the used tyres? What do you look for when buying them?

Not joking I guess all the ones I'm looking at online are a bit hard to find. So 265/35 is the way to go then? What retailers would you recommend?

Looking for semis for my GTR. Essentially want something that is going to last a few track days but won't take forever to heat up. Also, the cheaper the better I have yet to buy rims yet but I was looking at 18x10, so would 265/35 be the best profile? I am not finding many semis in that size. Should I look at other rim/tyre width combinations? Need to fit V8 supercar alcons underneath. Cheers

Thanks for that. So cars racing under 3J regs are closely scruitneered on race day then? I wasn't sure they would go to that much effort for a super sprint. Looks like I am going to log book my car anyway, still deciding whether its worth running 3J or not. Thanks for your help

Sorry to bump an old thread but just had some questions about running in 3E. My car has the following mods: Standard engine with -7's (260kw atw) pod filters ecu suspension Half cage (soon to be completed) What sort of mods are/aren't allowed? Are brakes free? Engine internals? Tuning? Anything I need to know before completing the cage? Any help would be appreciated

Just a quick question about my car and eligibility in NSW CAMS Supersprints. Currently my R32 GTR is unregistered and is fitted with a halfcage. Having a look at the regs I'm not really sure what category I fit into (or if I fit at all for that matter) The car is not logbooked, and currently is on semi's. What class would I be able to run in?

Also, would the studs that hold the rims together be difficult to replace?

I tried Import Monster's Yahoo search and found a few but nothing worthwhile. Don't know where else to look unfortunately!
