  1. Thanks Prank Delux is much better.
  2. Well I was planning on just using E85 from United, so are you saying that even their fuel isn't exactly e85 all the time?
  3. Yes it's very irritating It's hard to tell whats part of the quote and what isn,t.
  4. Link? I have a ViPEC if you are referring to the ECU. And why would I need an ethanol sensor if I only plan on running e85?
  5. How do you tune for Caltex eflex? Is it an E70 & E85 tune? As for 370kw, Status posted up a dynograph and mentioned a few cars were achieving it unless I misread it :S
  6. How reliable is United's E85? Is it a bad idea to base a tune on just their fuel? And just to be clear, is 370rwkw achievable with my setup?
  7. Are D2's any different to ATTKD brake kits? Also, I have a set of Nismo braided lines, would they be compatible with these brakes? Race pads and rotors are easy to source correct? And is this group buy at risk of not happening due to numbers? Cheers
  8. Any chance we'll be doing a texi at Sutton Rd this year? Also, when is the AGM?
  9. What's up with quoting on the new forum? Kind of hard to see the distinction between a new post and a quoted post.
  10. Are Japlink able to issue engineering certificates? Just about to start the process of getting my car engineered and need some recommendations on where to go.
  11. I've decided that whilst my car is getting sprayed, I need to start sourcing extra parts just in case shit blows up. Rather than do it piecemeal I may as well buy a front cut and have one spare of everything, and start rebuilding the engine. However, as the car is going to be mainly doing track work, I thought it might be an idea to buy an old track car as either a front cut or just buy it whole thing and cut it in half and keep all the good stuff. Firstly, where can I look for a cheap 32GTR track car overseas (Japan I guess?). I'd like to keep stuff like fuel setups, brakes, dogbox, engine etc. Secondly, who imports front cuts, or can source a car and do a few basic checks before chopping it up and sending it over? Thirdly, is this a shitty idea? It seems good in my head but I'm sure I'm missing something. Cheers.
  12. Where do yellow jackets sit in this discussion?
  13. Pretty sure Newbridge Rd is just an eflex. Minto isn't too far though and it's pretty much on the way to Wakefield and Eastern Creek. I won't get an eflex tune unless I absolutely needed one. $2k is bloody expensive!
  14. Minto is straight E85 not eflex? Also, back to my earlier question about the pods. Would $200 be spent better on buying a stock airbox or a pod enclosure? EDIT: How much e85 would you expect to go through at a track day?
  15. For those on straight e85 tunes how do you go about sourcing fuel? Do you buy it in drums or fill up jerries? Only place I know that sells it is in Rozelle which isn't a close drive. EDIT: Also misread that dyno chart, 370kw is crazy!
  16. $1300 was for a base e85 tune, it was $2k for a flex tune!! Who in Sydney is doing it cheaper??
  17. Which is what I'm hearing everywhere. So what's the point of the pod filters? Are they of any benefit in any application?
  18. Just revisiting an old topic. A lot of you have mentioned switching back to a stock air box. I am currently running Apexi pod filters as pictured (no idea what type): Anyway I'm in the middle of getting my car registered and need to do something about the filters. Works out to be around the same cost to swap the airbox or fit a pod enclosure. What's the most effective air intake option? I understand the stock airbox is suitable for my intended power figure, but what if I want to go beyond that. What is the intended purpose of these pod filters if the airbox does the same job? Also what would they be worth if I sold them?
  19. Thanks but no luck. On a side note, I'm heading to Japan next week and would like to grab a couple of Nismo items such as a gear knob, jacket etc. Is there a place where i can buy this stuff in Tokyo? I also want to grab this: http://www.rhdjapan.com/attain-carbon-fiber-gt-bumper-guard-bnr34-bcnr33-ecr33-bnr32-hcr32-fd3s-sxe10-ps13-s13-s15-cn9a-cp9a-ct9a-21447 Any idea where I would be able to purchase that from a shop in Japan?
  20. Are they genuine? I saw a set of genuine ones but I forgot where
  21. Hi matt do you have any exhaust heat shields for 32 gtr's in stock? Couldn't find them on your website.
  22. Can I ask where you got the exhaust shield from? I need something similar for my gtr. Congrats on the sale
