  1. Federal 595's are $130 a corner on eBay which seems pretty cheap. Are they a decent performance tyre? I run semi slicks for the track which I have an abundant supply of (not DOT approved unfortunately) so I just want a set of decent street tyres which are inexpensive. Any better options in that price range?
  2. I need a new bonnet. I don't particularly care if it's CF,FRP or aluminium, but I just want something that fits well but isn't too expensive, and doesn't have the ugly vents. I'm leanign towards a CF bonnet purely for the fact I won't have to paint it. What do you guys recommend?
  3. Cheers dudes, didn't even think to use eBay
  4. Also, what are other size tyres could possible fit on a 17x9 wheel?
  5. I'm looking for a set of tyres for my GTR and having trouble finding tyres in the size I want. I decided on Kumho Ku36's after hearing and good things but I can't find them in 255/40/17. What are some other good sub-$200 high performance tyres and where can I get them from? Cheers!
  6. Oh shit I might actually have my car registered but is that the same weekend as Bathurst??
  7. Got some new shots I posted in another thread:
  8. Hey guys I have had my GTR off the road for some time now, and want to get it registered and back on the road. I had initially stripped it and installed a roll cage for the purpose of racing, but now I just want to rego it so I can drive to the track and use it on weekends occasionally. The car has had the interior stripped out, air con removed, seatbelts removed and replaced with a 6 & 4 point harness, driver's side has a fixed back seat and no back seat thanks to the half roll-cage. Other than the interior being stripped out, the car is the same as it was before I stripped it. Exhaust still has cat, engine is relatively stock etc. What do I need to do to get it back on the road? Here's a few photos for reference:
  9. Thanks mate I'll give them a call
  10. Hey guys really need the seatbelts, anyone know where I can get my hands on a set?
  11. Is there a reason why SAU doesn't run unofficial events like WSID on a Wednesday or SOTS at Wakie?
  12. Hey guys, I urgently need a set of front seat belts and buckles form an R32 GTR. Not having much luck in WTB and don't know any wreckers or places that would have them. Any ideas? Cheers
  13. Then I don't get it Could you explain what your thinking of?
  14. How much would it generally cost to gets rims repaired and powdercoated white?
  15. I think most people would be concerned about having their beautiful Skylines punted off into the wall if racing door-to-door, but I definitely think there is room for a regular Time Attack series. Like WTAC but a few more rounds at other tracks. I know Supersprints are essentially the same thing but they aren't marketed at this category at all.
  16. Would you mind explaining the idea a little more? do you mean like a door-to-door racing championship for imports only?
  17. Still got the front seatbelts and buckles?
  18. Cheers mate, just gonna go to SSS on the weekends and the odd weeknight when I can.
  19. Have you got the seatbelts and buckles for the front seats?
  20. I'd just like to add my 2c as a (semi) long time member who has more or less sat on the sidelines since joining the club. I've been a member for about five years now, and in those five years I've been to one track day and one AGM. The track day was great, but to me it was just another day at Wakie, and the AGM was awkward because I didn't know anyone (my fault really) and since then my car has been off the road. I don't have any interest in cruises or tech nights, and I can't attend motorsport events because my car is borked. My barrier to getting more involved in this club is that I don't really know anyone and that I don't currently have an operational Skyline (soon to be rectified). So hopefully when my car is back on the road I can attend more events and get more involved, but at this stage without a working car my interest in the club is pretty limited. I like the fact that you guys have an interest in motorsport (I wouldn't be here if you didn't) but I understand that can't be the focus. Some hillclimbs would't hurt though
  21. Hey guys anyone know of a good powerlifting friendly gym in the Sydney CBD? Used to train at Shire Speed & Strength but now I work in the city.
  22. Awesome mate thanks very much
  23. I've only seen it in person once, but there's a pretty big difference between the BT2 and the Calsonic Blue. As I don't have a colour code it's going to be hard to match I guess. Going off the photos it looks to be a few shades lighter than BT2.
