Ok good to know there is a fire marshall then. The 300 didnt have it's own fire extinguisher? As for the incident, the driver involved is acting like a complete douche, I hope word gets around of his assholish ways. You can't just blatantly trash someones pride and joy and then just say 'racing incident - lol' and walk off. What a prick.

As for the fire extinguishers, I would have thought there would be a fire Marshall at the track, or at least some bloke with a fire extinguisher in the back of a ute who can dash out when need be. Is this not a standard thing for track days?

No worries mate! I will usually have the compressor out there with me so any and all are welcome to use it.

Anyone know where to find a power steering oil cooler for an R32 GTR? After a session at wakefield the reservoir for the power steering kept boiling over. apparently a power steering cooler can fix this. Any other ideas?

Hey guys just wanted to say big thanks to the club for a great day. My car was the ghetto-spec GTR with an unpainted half-cage and no interior. It was my first day out on a track and I had a blast! Had a few minor issues with brake pads overheating after 5 laps and the power steering reservoir boiling over, but other than that the car was awesome! Scary amounts of grip with the semis on, I'm nowhere to finding the limit. Also wanted to give Brad from Pro-Fabrication a plug due to the massive amount of work he has put into my car, from the awesome job on the half cage to the many other bits and pieces he helped me out with to ensure the car got out onto the track. All his work is top notch and he's an all round good bloke!

Thanks for the advice BB, however pretty sure anything Project Mu won't be cheap! Might give the standard brakes a whirl at Wakie soon and see how they fare. I've been considering replacements in case these brakes are just shithouse, and the Wilwood 6 pots seem like a good deal, although I've heard they aren't really suited for heavy cars like GTR's and can flex. Any truth in that? Cheers!

It's for the track only. Would it be classified as a semi-slick or full slick? Only doing track days at the moment, although I would like to be able to enter Time Attack and Supersprints etc.

Hey guys, need to make some improvements to my standard sumitomo gtr brakes. It's a track only car, and the brakes need to fit under the 16" gtr stock rims, as I have a virtually endless supply of semi slicks to suit those rims. At the moment I'm running DBA4000 rotors and DS2500 pads. Any other ideas? Trying to avoid going up in rim size here

Got a Recaro SR3 with Bride seat rail to suit Drivers side & R32 GTR Drivers seat. GTR seat has a few tears and is in fair condition, Recaro is in decent condition and both seats need a good clean. Will post pics soon. Not entirely sure what they're worth now so I'll say $400 for the lot, pickup in Sydney. Cheers
