So next week I'm getting the engine pulled out of my GTR to have an extended sump fitted. As the car is going to only be used on the track, what are some other things I should consider getting done whilst the donk is out? Along with the sump, it has a brand new N1 pump (which I'm sticking to, don't see the value in upgrading) and I will be installing a 1.5 way Nismo Diff, Twin Plate Clutch and a Breather Tank. I'm also looking at throwing on a Just Jap oil cooler, and Just Jap Silicone Hoses. How do they fare on the track? Also it worth buying Cam Cover Baffles? Or is the Extended Sump sufficient? Any other suggestions would be great. Cheers!

Nah mine hasn't been dropped off yet, still waiting for the sump to get fabricated. It's a gunmetal grey 32 around Carss Park, but it's off the road now as it's getting the race car treatment

I'm currently getting Yavuz to fit an extended sump to my GTR. After visiting most Skyline specialists in Sydney, he has no doubt been the most helpful and realistic with my budget and expectations. Can't wait to get it back out on the track after he's finished. Oh and 546 represent Yo!

Anyway know where I can get this done? Would prefer a mobile guy to come out to my work. Cheers!

Hey guys, are HPI brake lines from Just Jap any good? I've never heard of HPI but they seem to think its fairly reputable Jap brand. A set for an R32 GTR is going for $399. What do the nismo ones go for?

How many laps would you require to get heat into the toyos? and which tyre will last longer overall? I can't imagine spending any more than say 10 laps out at wakefield at a time. Also I can buy both tyres for the same price, and the car will not see the street at all. Cheers!

Unfortunately there's no story in car enthusiasts being enthused by cars.

I'm not looking forward to this. Hack is a pretty evenhanded program, but I can't imagine most of the deadshits who show up to these meets would be be able to string a sentence together, let alone put forward a coherent argument for the expansion of motorsport facilities in Victoria as a deterrent for street racing.

hey guys looking at buying some semis for the GTR, and i'm down to two options. I can source Fed RSR's off here for $290 a corner, or i can get Toyo R888's fitted for $325 a corner through Taleb Tyres. What's the better option?

standard sump available?

Site runs very slow for me both at home and at work. Just took about 3 minutes to log on just now. A lot of 404's during the day too.

Hey guys I'm after two tyres for my GTR, size 255/40/17, just for the fronts to do some driver training in so they have to be in a reasonable sort of condition. Also I need some cheap rims (and tyres) just to sit my car on when it goes to get sprayed etc. so the offsets and stud patterns must fit a GTR; they can be absolutely shithouse just as long they fit. Cheers!

Do they tune Vipecs?
