Excellent! Thanks very much! The car is really starting to come together. Managed to get most of the panels on today with help from my brother and the guys at Pro Fabrication. Have you tried them yet? Can anyone racing a Skyline comment? Just about to make the switch to 18's and need some new semis, however I'm on a budget and want something that will last while I get familiar with the car.

Just finished off installing the dash and fixing up the interior before it's shipped off to Race Solutions tomorrow for an E85 tune. Recently just fitted the following parts: Surge tank and 2x 044's In tank Walbro 400l/ph pump ID2000 injectors Turbosmart 1200 FPR Will be interesting to see what it gets on the dyno Need it all finished for a SOTS day at Wakefield next Thursday. Feel free to join me if you can Couple more photos with some minor progress: At this stage I'm not 100% convinced I got the colour right. In person it looks like it has a little too much colour, don't know how to describe it. Then again last time I saw it in person was years ago so what do I know. For comparison's sake:

Used F6 Ute Or New Xr6T Ute

So apparently the F6 can't tow 2300kgs. Which makes zero sense since the XR6t is in many ways the same f**king car. -
Hi guys, I have just been offered a job with a car allowance, so it's time to go car shopping! I have been eyeing off the Ford Utes as I want something comfortable as i will be doing a lot of miles, and a lot of grunt because why not. I also need to be able tow my race car, so that leaves the Holden's out as they don't have the towing capacity. So, I'm down to two choices, a brand new XR6t or a Used F6 with low miles (09-10). What are the major differences between these two cars? From what I understand, when the new F6 came out it had brembos, better interior and a bigger turbo/injectors. Does the new XR6t have any new features that compete with these? Did both cars come out with the ZF auto? By the looks of it they are both in the same price range, what do you think is the better car? So I was on Parramatta Rd today looking at some GTR's when I noticed a beautiful white Series 8 RX7 sitting in the lot. I sat in it and was instantly reminded of the MX5, with it's cockpit-like interior and snappy gearbox. I've always been fond of the RX7, however I am hesitant to buy anything with a rotary due to hearing bad things and having no experience with them. However, all I would ever want is to buy one completely stock and not even touch it, so really, how unreliable could it be? Keen to hear your thoughts and experiences on the VIII RX7 and just rotaries in general.

As seen in my build thread, I recently installed a side pipe exhaust to my GTR (as pictured) Does the car need a full retune due to the exhaust change? It's running a bit shit at the moment due to fouled plugs and the fact that it's been sitting in workshops for years but I wouldn't have thought it would need a full retune. Will the freer flowing exhaust start to lean out the engine? Could just a couple of power runs sort it out?

As for the rims, I think the best I will be able to achieve will be some Nismo LMGT1's with the original logos. Anyone recognise the logos below?
