they are a pain, first some more wd40, good spanner and try hitting the spanner with a hammer, then add some heat if that fails grinder time

in my old skyline i got 300km to a tank city driving and 450-500km to a tank on the highway with 250rwkw on a rich tune

still no surge tank and brad is not returning missed calls

Update: i still havent been sent my surge tank after getting in contact with Brad last week, not returning any calls or responding to any emails, anyone had any luck?

i got a hold of brad yesturday he says the surge tanks are done, and is sorting the delivery this week. if he sorts this mess out and everyone gets their goods that they have paid for. and keeps to his time frames within reason for future work, i reckon his shop will recover

Brad I'm still waiting for my surge tank that i paid for in May, you have told me that you have sent it on numerous times over the past couple of Months, and that I would get the tracking number the next day, i have given you more than a fair chance, i even had orgnaised a close friend that was in sydney on a Saturday to meet you to pick up my surge tank, you didnt answer your calls like you said you would. if you get a used rb make sure you pull the sump off and take a look, make sure the is no sludge or shavings, also check the welsh plugs they have a habbit of rusting through, if you go down the rebuild path it will cost more but make sure you go through a workshop that will warrent their engines, the only workshop that i have seen do this first hand is Trojan Morotsports, bit more expensive but worth it, the problem with rebuilds is that it always that if i only spend a bit more i can get this and this, set a figure and stick by it.

hi guys i have a stripped r33 shell that needs to be moved, it has nothing under the car no tank, subframes etc i need to move it with out damaging it, any ideas i have been told to fab up a frame out framing wood and to run it along the sills, any ideas??? should i make to run along the sills, chassis rails or some how to the subframe mounts thanks guys

i was looking at a harness bar and the only place they seem common is in the states, yes they will give you a place to strap your harness to but what happens if you are in a decent crash, you would rather not know, spoken to a few fabricators and even a sparco rep all of them were against the idea big time, read the cage thread in the motorsport section some good info there.

skyline engine bays and boots are poorly finished compared to other makers of cars it is usually base coat or black, most white r33 don't even have color in boots, this was done to save money for Nissan, funny thing i have seen magna's and commy's with complete paint coverage in engine bays

thanks guys, i have since tried automotive stripper which smears it, and the heat gun and scrapper, but it looks like angle grinder with brush is the only way, is there anyone that does dry ice blasting in Canberra??

i have split calipers in the past, make sure you dont damage the machine surfaces and torque them up right and they should be fine, get the right seals and it should be good and just makes sure u test the brakes well!! what brand of seals do you guys use, Nissan?? the seal kit i got last year seemed like the dust seals were less of a quality than the factory ones i pulled off.
