  1. Have a look at the air regulator too under your throttle body that would be fair average I reckon have a look for the diy clean on here somewhere. I'd deff be leaning to the AFM's rooted and I wouldn't be running it without the AFM. With the AFM unplugged then it would definitely be reading zero airflow?
  2. If it won't rev past 2500rpm i'd say the AFM's dead. Have you changed plugs, fuel filter & fresh batch of fuel if its been sitting for a year? Oil too for that matter? Give it a good service before trying to get it going after a year.
  3. Tai1or Made with the thread save! Bishes FTW
  4. The resistor pack is so that you can run the GTR injectors with your rb20, in saying that you would still require a tune anyway. Theres a DIY thread somewhere showing you how to wire the resistors in sepereatly I think instead of the resistor pack? (not 100% sure) Oh heres the diy for the pack into an rb20 anyway if u wanna look? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/62674-gtr-injectors-into-rb20det/
  5. Probably should have mentioned the two harnesses in the first post haha. It was an ebay gauge so I had retarded instructions no wiring diagram. Appreciate the help lads!
  6. haha yeh sorry bout that. I had a play this arvo with it and put the red wire on the thread and started to try and find a good earth. Ended up finding by accident that earthing against the sender itself it started working. Will have to take it for a spin tomorrow to heat coolant right up and see how it goes though.
  7. Haven't gotten around to it yet been crook, Its 12v gauge it has its own seperate harness for power and illumination and then this 2 wire harness for sensor. The bung for the sensor is one of the GKteck coolant hoses so not sure how good that will ground out might just lengthen the ground wire to a decent earth close by, and then what do you mean by switched 12v on red? Sorry being an elec numpty haha
  8. Cheers mate will give it a crack today
  9. Not sure where to put it, but here goes. Got a water temp gauge and having some trouble trying to wire the sensor up. It's a two wire one and jus trying to figure out where the two go. Most sensors i've seen have the two wires connected to it already but this one is seperate? (as per pic) The instructions are quite vague and just say attatch to sensor. Do I need a 12v source going to it or do I just attach red one to the thread and earth the black one on something in the engine bay? tried a few different ways and held a lighter underneath but with no movement on the gauge. Any help would be great!
  10. Not sure if serious?
  11. Chasing an rb20 coilpack loom, live in the south work out north so location shouldnt be a prob.
  12. Looks much better now, thought it may have been that tubing causing the issues. Not sure on how long your turbo will last pushing 14psi but see how it goes, in the mean time i'd be looking for an rb25 or vg30 turbo as a cheap upgrade.
  13. All good Yeh I thought it read the whole scale in psi. Your vacuum seems about right, so you said you installed a boost tee and have wound it up? I myself wouldnt push the ceramic turbo much past 12 just for longevity, but have a good google and search on some older threads about the stock turbo but if you have installed the tee correctly and wound it up I'd say you should have more than 6psi though?
  14. No at idle it should read vaccum which is minus whatever, it depends on what your gauge scale is, like mine is analogue and reads vaccum in inches of mercury (inHg) around -19 to -20, and im running a vg30 turbo allowing me to run 15 pounds per square inch (psi) Quick google to me says that -9psi is roughly -18inHg. I'd say 6psi is stock actuator maybe someone else may be able to clarify this one?
  15. Yeh that was it, but i did it from above without removing anything jus had a torch and mirror the only hard bit was putting it back on. Getting one end on is easy the other is a bit harder I sat it in boiling water for a while to make it softer and more forgiving to get it on. Replaced the clamps with worm drive ones too.
  16. Yep thats it. You can see my blue one there
  17. Under the plenum there is a tiny hose maybe 2 inches at most mine was split there, can be a pita to change as access is poor. i had a few of these splits in mine http://imageshack.us...98523145304.jpg
  18. Can tee peice off the factory vacuum line at the back of the plenum or off the fuel pressure reg line
  19. Amoured Kill...Nuff said
  20. Im on late shift tonight but will try get on after see if anyones stil on
  21. if your so uber good at it why bother with the noob upgrade?
  22. Non taken. I am in the military But like I said I reckon theres a lot more teamwork going on when its hardcore.
  23. mmm i know what you mean but to me just gives it that bit more realism. I find that it takes more team/squad work to complete objectives rather than just run and gun cod techniques.
  24. i play mostly hardcore, doesnt bother me what type of game, hopefully most have premium by now so shouldnt be too hard to organise game types etc. Add me; pzessd
