  1. dont worry ive had the idea of a ls2 in my 4wd stagea for a long time but the gearbox is the main issue as it wont last with the torque of the motor, might be ok stock but with mods its not gonna survive.
  2. yes Ryan its manual as well, which will be lucky to last long on this power and weight of the car but time will tell. I have pretty much a gtr driveline with stagea shell on top its costly to change over to gtr parts and i would reccomend to buy a 260rs from the start as it will save time and money. When i bought my stagea in mid 04, 260rs wasnt even compliable yet and cost a fortune at the time, plus i had the rb26 running gear from my last car.

  4. lookin great, the yellow is gonna suit it perfect i reckon, u just need some new rims to fill out the gtr gaurds now whats the cost of parts for this, not including labour and paint/painting?

  6. it was along time ago now and i forgot alot of info, but the stagea axles snapped and i put in a gtr centre in the stagea diff housing, as they are both r200 diffs, but i used the stagea housing for ease of mounting attessa pumps etc back in as normal. I added gts4 axles and one long one fit the short side of the stagea and the long side needed another 40mm added onto it to make the length fit. I dont know if it was a r32 or 33 gts4 before anyone asks lol. The gts4 axles are same as gtr in thickness and uni joint size, but alot longer. GTR axles wont fit as they are wayyy short. Thats about all i can add on the subject as i didnt experiment with any other parts at the time.
  7. Hey Yudy i been checking the forums pretty regularly i just dont post often anymore as i havent much to add and i like to keep a low profile for fear of another ban lol. I had the stagea going strong last february and it made the power mentioned above and then it melted 3 pistons and my head as well, so i lost motivation and left it sitting in garage until july and then i started to order bits and pieces for it, i just got motor in last week and its currently being run in again for the 3rd time in as many years It seems all ok and im planning on keeping power down abit this time on pump fuel, around 500awhp will be fine for the time being. I have added some other bits and pieces to the combo so it should make more power on lower boost hopefully Im still gonna run a 10 sec pass and i dont plan on quiting until i do, it was awesome when i drove it last time on 520hp and i dont think many cars on the street would touch it except gtrs with same or more power. The 4wd launches are great fun lol

  9. on a basic tune it managed 585rwhp on 18psi and 605rwhp on 22psi (misfire issues prevented anymore runs at the time), engine has just been finished again with more go fast goodies. This is only a pump fuel tune as well, more to come on c16.
  10. haha my stagea is making 550rwhp+ on 16psi on pump fuel so i think that would shut the skyline lads up abit, the stageas arnt that heavy compared to r34 gtr's etc, they dont understand the flexability of the wagons
  11. Stasis has a 260rs which run different offsets anyway so u cant compare to rs4 stageas, 260rs will fit any wheels a gtr fit from what i have read, meaning they have shorter axles and more clearance to the gaurds for bigger rims
  12. do a leakdown test before u start spending I'd be keeping spare $$$ aside for a rebuild if u plan on using it alot with 450hp, most of the 26's are long in the tooth now and starting to show there age. Ringlands and bearings are the main problems.

  16. in Perth, black s2 with [R34 WGN] numberplates and black rims, lowered with gtr front mount by the looks of it. Lunchtime today on mitchell fwy near hepburn ave offramp area, looked very very nice anyone on the forums by any chance? p.s. i was gonna tell him its actually a C34 but i thought i better not
  17. i dont think the master change is a neccessity but worthwhile for better pedal feel. Im running r34 brembos and stock rs4 master and its fine but i feel the brakes are not as good as they should be and ill change the master and see what happens. I think the stock master is just too small to effectively operate the big calipers like they should.
  18. thanks Kylie, i think your stagea looks great now with the lowered suspension, it really makes a difference in appearance from the old highrider suspension damn sorry to hear about the motorbiker and damage to your car, its looking very clean for a black car (unlike my dusty, dirty gto)
  19. use a couple of ring spanners to undo the bolts or u might round them off if they are super tight and never been undone before. i had my front shaft out for a while with 500hp at wheels and its an absolute hoot to give it some stick and smoke some rubber (on private roads of course) i have a gtr lsd diff and it is sooo easy to control slides with the long wheelbase, i could go a fair distance and keep it under control very easily.
  20. i wouldnt touch just cars with a 10 foot pole personally i took both my cars from then as they have the new policy rules and they are shocking. no choice of repairers if they think they made the condition of the car better than it was before an accident repair than u have to pay the extra they use second hand parts they dropped my stagea value about 4k in one year and upped the premium another $300 theres a few other things on the back of the policy pages but i cant remember them. also i have a friend who got her car repaired through just cars and is having no end of dramas trying to sort it out and them not accepting blame on a basic accident case, car went into repairer (panelshop) running fine with rear end damage and come out not running and wont start or run at all for some reason and insurance told her its her problem now. Plus they refused to fix the tailights with new ones becuase they claim they were damaged before the accident and not in the accident, even though she was hit directly in the rear. dodgy shit if u ask me and i dont plan on hanging around to find out on a claim if it happens to come up.
  21. 8005TED works for shannons last time i spoke to him he was very helpful and unfortunately i couldnt insure my gto with them because its not in an enclosed garage damn having too many decent cars and a 2 car garage sucks bigtime try QBE insurance if your in WA as they did a great value on my gto (which i specified) and cheap premium as well.
  22. awesome numbers mate, congratulations what boost was it on and was it on pump fuel? its good to see the t04z has 650hp in it which i was unsure about. Any plans to hit the drag strip and roll off some 10 sec passes?
  23. you have a 6boost manifold? if it dont fit then tell them and im sure they would sort it out? i havent had any personal experience with 6boost but a few mates have them and they seem good quality.
