i keep reading the word "cheap" and "not enough money at this time" in yours posts and i dont think those words and 600rwhp go in the same sentence im afraid. lower the power goals and u will save a hell of alot of $$$ and maintain a streetable reliable 10 sec package. A 180sx here with a rb26 built engine and a gt3540r with 530rwhp runs 10.6 so its about the target u need for your times.

haha the motorkana was supposed to be like that, i did a proper go first time and then the guy running it said just cut sick and do donuts etc wherever u want (and thats no word of lie), hence me just cutting it up he timed everyone and said like 40 sec for others and i was like 1 min 30 sec or something lol, i love taking advantage of being able to cut up some grass legally

atleast u will have an excuse for spinning out on this event as it does involve cornering lol how come i never saw u cruisin around at all Paul? i also loved the Meisters on the 350z they looked great

hey guys this weekend i spotted and chatted to Mitchy, Neil (msport180), danial (260rsstagea), and Morgan, all down at Motorvation 08 car show, damn i had a ball and will have some footage up soon of some rwd action in the motorkana (on lawn lol), 3rd gear donuts ftw Also big thanks to Mitchy for getting me the power steering belt when mine decided to rip off and chew itself to bits. Im soo looking forward to the ahg track day now after this weekends effort

how much wider is the gtr gaurd front end compared to the rear end width? im worried the gtr bulging gaurds is gonna make it looks really fat at the front and narrow at the back end?

let Stinky in he is a top bloke and one of the nicest stagea owners ive met (well ex stagea owner now) Mitchy is also a good mate and definately should be welcome, he attends all the stagea cruises and gives fellow stagea owners free power steering brackets haha Its not like these 2 people are random sau users who jumped on the stagea section when they heard the AHG track day was being organised. im sure i could get a few variety of cars to come down also if u need any more so its not a stagea/skyline fest lol :laughing-smiley-014:

Just having a read of Beastiens post on the manual conversion thread and he lists all the parts but misses a couple of part no's... Part Numbers: 96911-0V800 Body-Console 96920-0V800 Lid-Console Box 68430-0V800 Holder Assy-Cup 96935-0V800 Boot-Console 96965-AA001 Holder Assy-Cup These items are for a Z interior, which is black with the grey roof and rear trim. The rear ashtray is the same throughout the models The front ashtray is a slightly different colour so heres the part number to match the RS4S console. 68800-0V700 So is that saying the rear ashtray is the same as a auto one (the one i already have)? is there any parts missing from that list before i order? cheers

hey guys i been around the forums for years and had a manual in my stagea since late 2004, and finally decided ill fork out the cash for a manual console to clean the interior up abit. i searched the forums looking for part numbers for the console, and drink holder, ash tray etc and cant find them anywhere. can someone list the parts needed to swap my auto console for a manual one? and part numbers if they have them and cost from Nissan? or anywhere that has then cheaper? can i reuse any parts from my auto console on the manual one to save buying things twice? i remember someone on the forums worked for nissan and said the whole lot was around $750 from him, who was it and is he still around? i got a price ages ago on it and it was like $1000 or so. so far i can think of... console shell ashtray? shifter surround rear drink holders? money tray? console lid and storage area what else? cheers fellas

hey Alex love the wheels mate, i think u have pushed the limit of offset on the rear though haha. how far do u reckon the rim is sticking out from the gaurd on the rears? and how far do the fronts stick out with the 25mm spacer on? i would love some aggresive offsets but dont want them sticking out the gaurds more than 5mm max.

ok ill start with what i have found when test fitting some different rims... this is my opinion only, dont blame me if im wrong on the front i could fit a 9.5' rim +40 (it was sticking in the gaurd alot and im sure u could go a 9.5" or +30). The +40 was really close to the suspension on the inside of the rim but choosing the +30 offset or whatever will be much better on both accounts 9.5" + 40 on the rear was touching the coilover only just and i could probably get a +35 on the rear if u make it run heaps of negative camber (2 camber kits), tyre wear wont be your friend though on the rear i would personally go 9" wide only and a +30 offset (same as r34 gtr rims) and that is perfect with some camber to tuck it under the gaurds, on the front u can run 9" + 20 or +25 easy with abit of camber. r34 gtr rims fit great on the rear, u just need a 10mm spacer or more on the fronts and it works out good (r34 gtr rims are 9' x +30) these fitments mentioned are with plenty of rear camber to tuck them under the gaurds so dont expect stock camber with these rear offsets to clear the rear gaurds. hope its some sort of help, but please try a test fit if u can to see for sure. p.s. To answer the question i think u have no hope of fitting a 9.5' +22 under the rear gaurds without them sticking out about 13-15mm at least and thats with alot of negative camber

it was in Aus and it was actually a r32 gtst with a 7m, ran 9s on its first night at the drags (built by Rigoli from memory), the 7m is now in a datsun 1200 i think

Thanks John great advice mate, im wondering if the nissan badge below the rear window is a pinned badge, hopefully someone can tell me before i go ripping it off and finding out for myself

i would double check compared to a rsfour as yudy said, i know the 260rs has a different rear diff cradle, etc so i would check the area near the rear swaybar etc for dimensions, sorry i cant be much help i dont have a 260 to look at unfortunately.

im in with my stagea, i'd be pretty sure it should be going fine at that time, what happens if its not running for some reason? can i use my other car if u cant get anyone else with a stagea in? its a mitsubishi gto so its not a piece of shit haha. Would i get a refund if i couldnt take the stagea and u find someone else to fill the spot with a stagea? PM sent in about 2 min from now

Haha Kylie, sounds like fun I only have 17' rims with 45 profile tyres from memory so its not to bad, wait till i get the 18s or 19s with lower profile tyres

Thanks Gary, i appreciate it, i am not trying to put down your product in anyway, i was considering swapping to different coilovers without mentioning what i had at the moment for that very reason, but if we can sort it i would be very happy and probably change to the threaded versions.

Nah never went it the 33 Mitchy, u can come in the stagea next time and compare lol. I hope the last post doesnt come off as me slagging the products, i am just saying how my situation is. Ill sort something out soon enough and make it right no matter what it takes haha. money spent is a subject i dont like discussing lol, i have made everything the best possible products i can to avoid these dramas of doing mods twice

i have been in contact with him recently about it, but we cant work out why its like it is Im either gonna get different coilovers, or the threaded version and buy some custom springs from my mate at the local suspension shop, its just not comfortable to drive in and i usually dont mind stiff suspension, even my gto with tein flex lowered about 70mm (very very low) is smoother and doesnt bounce like my stagea does.

i checked my susp and i didnt have the 2 bumpstops in so i dont know why its stiff as it is I doubt ill spend money on the other stuff if its gonna be as rough riding as my current setup, i hate bouncing down the road and thats even at a 4wd style ride height lol, just not my cup of tea. arhh well i always end up with some pain in the arse problem that no one else has with the same product
