  1. is it the jms car? its a tdo6 19c.. made 306rwkw on 1.6bar.. mite work out to be 450hp at engine?

  3. hey got a tdo6 20g with 8cm exhaust housing.. internal wastegate.. you can get 8cm, 10cm, i think 12cm not sure about 14.. but there is a guy with a 16cm i think.. its rob77 he mite post up details. im not sure about any power ratings.. dunt even know about mine.. so if some one could help out please.. im going to convert it to external wastegate i think.. just for the noise (as its a drift car and need all the wank value parts ) this is going on a rb20 and hopefully isnt too laggy. there was a jms car running a internal wastegated tdo6 19c and he made 306rwkw on 1.6bar with special fuel and ran 235rwkw at a dyno day not sure on boost/fuel etc tho. did run a 11.3 i think on slicks also.. if that helps. oh and that was on rb25/microtech etc etc
  4. take the bugger off and spray with carby cleaner.. i drenched it in carby cleaner about 5 times to make it really clean.. came up a treat after a while.. also used an old tooth brush to scrub round.
  5. iv been in a car with hks t300 not sure if its the same or not? but this thing had 270rwkw on pump fuel and 325 on avgas
  6. i would even up the boost on a rb with out doing fuel pump if you have 90000km.. it could fail.. boom! i would do the support mods - fuel pump, fuel reg, intercooler, exhaust, cams if you wish cam gears if you wish too and after that get your turbo and ecu at the same time and tune.. either that or tune it twice if you buy the ecu early in the mod process.. while you have everything else you mite find out the turbo you were going to buy doesnt make the power you want or have the powerband you want. do it right the first time and reap the benifits later

  8. 2535 is rated at 380ps-400ps isnt it? im not too sure.. just a quick guess.. and a gcg is 500... i think its an easy option if out right power is what you want isnt it? but then again hks underate their turbos dont they?
  9. for 250rwkw i would think a 2535 MIGHT do it on rb20 a 2540 should do it.
  10. check the filter thing on the fuel pump too.. i know its a bitch but this car block fuel to the motor obviously - if there is shit on it.. also check the wires to the fuel pump. mine unconnected it self once and made the car a bitch to drive.. taking corners at low speed and made it jerk like i hit a brick wall..
  11. i dont think a tdo6 would would run out of puff at those revs with low boost.. correct me if im wrong.. but shouldnt you be able to run say.. 1.5bar for more power maybe then id expect it to run out of puff.. but not on 1.2 bar..
  12. so am i correct in you saying you have 250rwkw? thats a really good power figure.. well done.. and being a smallish turbo you would have a big powerband yea? congrats dude.

  15. cgb_r32 - i think ill be having a cup of tea waiting for boost.. haha maybe about 4000 maybe 4500.. doesnt bother me at all tho.. it will make me drive slower on the street.. having the "power" there from the stock turbo atm is too tempting and with something laggy ill be less bothered to actually wait till boost comes on to make that pass/overtake etc and when boost comes on im expecting it to be kicking out anyway.. maybe make 250rwkw on 1.4bar not too sure no one knows.. ill find out.. ill keep pushing till i made it.. ill do cams, cam gears, computer, exhaust, fmic, injectors, fuel reg, and maybe a bit of porting of the exhaust/inlet manifolds just to see if it makes any difference.. ill have my newer motor on a engine stand with in the next couple of weeks so what ever i choose to do porting wise ill try post pics up to show.. mite even attack the head yet?? get rid of the factory inperfections...
  16. why do the cam when your loosing boost to the cooler? be wise and spend the money on a good cooler for better results. YES even a trucker cooler would be better than the std r33 cooler.
  17. i have a tdo6 20g sitting here ready to go on.. boost wont come on for a while i think.. maybe 4000.. 2530 wont make 250rwkw easily.. and 2540 mite have trouble making it on some motors etc.. mite meed cams to get it up there. jms built a r32 with microtech, rb25, fmic, exhaust and tdo6 19c (internal wastegate) that made 230rwkw (not sure on boost)at a dyno day but 306rwkw on 1.5bar wit a special fuel i think it was also runs 11.3's. i just got a tdo6 20g internal gate so im hoping for a little better. when the bugger goes on ill let you know.
  18. no one will really know if he is telling the truth.. im not saying anything against anyone just that some one mite not like the owner of the business for personal reasons and to get em back the person mite want to ruin their business. also with all the sueing going on i wouldnt be suprised if shit hit the fan and someone lost a lot of money.
  19. just wondering what are these things like if you have upgraded the turbo got fmic and go and buy 550cc injectors.. could you make it run better easily or is it better to get remap/new ecu.. i know the second option would be better but for a patch up till i can afford a new ecu would it be fine?
  20. thats what i did.. but i screwed mine to 1500.. wow.. sitting in traffic and couldnt hear much (3.5in exhaust and 1 muffler) got too annoying.. col-gtsx - when i replace my motor ill lend you my spare idle control valve and you can try it. not sure when it will be but ill let you know and if you still got problems well give it a go. another thing to try is look at EVERY VACCUME line in your engine bay!!! try fuel filter if it hasnt been replaced for a while.. your fuel reg could be stuffed (you said you have an adj one.. have you taken the vac line off the std one and just let the fuel run through it? could have a leak some where) hate to say it but my head gasket is causing my idle to screw up.. mite be worth a check. the other nite i got the contact cleaner out and cleaned some of my coil packs also noticed on the wires going to the coil packs (the loom thing) that a lot of the wires didnt look the best.. looks as if they were burnt etc.. it would be a nitemare but mite fix it if you replace the wires () haev a look at the back of the plenum but under it and you will see another regulator type device on the fuel rail whats this for??? have a look at the vac line going to that is it cracked i changed mine and tried taking the one that was on there off.. took a while cause it was the original one.. there are just some things i was thinking about tonight. hope it helps.. if anything can/does at all..

  22. i bought a n1 water pump and it has the same slot/hole.. its so it bolts on to gtr blocks n stuff as well i think.. i just filled it with some shit and off i went.
  23. where abouts is the temp sensor? what do i pull off?
