  1. 2535 would flow enough easily i would think.. better off getting cams and gtr cam gears and have more midrange and top end.. with something like 1.3 bar.. 1.4bar i wouldnt be suprised if you could reach 250kw with this.. of course, coola, exhaust, injectors, computer as well tho..
  2. you can purchase a t3 int gate tdo6 like i did.. bolt on with new oil lines/spacer and longer bolts.... thats al oh and new cooler piping and dump pipe..
  3. soon will be tdo6 20g 8cm exhaust housing int gate.. hoping for enough power to blaze stockies in 3rd all the way so maybe 25kw.. iv heard of 2530 run 20kw and he was doin well..so heres hoping
  4. looks t3 flange but a bit bigger .. apparently there are two t3 flanges.. one is euro and one is jap.. jap is smaller.. also it needs an external wastegate.. so basicly.. it wont just bolt on drive away.. new manifold, oil/water lines, dump pipe, wastegate, cooler piping.. intake pipe and it should be alright.
  5. a31 Cefiros have 2 hp more than your suggestion cause the diff and tail shaft use less power..

  7. cams, cam gears, more compression.. rb25 rods, crank and forgies or 4age/4agze) pistons for 2.3 or forgies and bore it out for 2.2 i think. cant give u a price cause every place charges different.. then you should do some head work etc.
  8. first of all you NEED.. fuel system.. big pump and gtr injectors maybe, good fmic, exhaust, computer (bigger afm if applicable) and then go choosing a turbo capable of those numbers. if you went gtr cams and adj cam gears it would help a lot
  9. if u get the tdo6 mentioned before.. it comes with injectors and a rich running computer.. run that on lowish boost (10psi or so) and save to get intercooler, exhaust and it should be alright.
  10. gtrs would be the go if your after quick responce.. but being 2.4 that wouldnt be a worry at all! you mite regret choosing a smaller turbo later once you get use to the power.. keep boost down to start with and wind her up when ya ready..

  13. i think the 8cm is just another way of saying ar.. type thing.. just find out what a 8cm, 10cm, 12cm is equal to and there is your answer.. 8cm mite be .6 or something??? have a look at the ihi rx6 turbo.. very small exhaust housing but huge comp cover.. spools up at like 2800-3200 on sr20 but still packs enough for 300rwkw+ mite the same deal with your t67 with 8cm housing..

  15. replace it. heard a bit about the avcr ones.. not the best or something.. dunno how true it is.. also heard that they are the same as power fc ones? i know a lot of people who use AVCR and have NO problems but maybe heat got to it.. ??

  17. you guys are right saying the americans copy the japs.. but in some hpi vids.. i see a lot of american trends with the cars. air bags, the vans with tv's.. even the ole kingswoods had this(crazy int with tvs).. does this mean they copied the u.s? maybe im wrong.. but hpi dvds only got released in the last 2 or so years so maybe they were doin this for years before and i didnt know about it. just wondering.. where did the trends start anyway?
  18. yes but most people dont have the internals to run 1.6bar.. most people run 1.1 or 1.3 bar. even though i got a t88 that could handle 2bar.. doesnt mean im going to run it. most people want their engine to hang together and know they can push it with out worrying.. i know its in the tuning but "most" people only run lowish boost levels.. so i think its a fair comparison.

  20. im pretty damn sure 20g refers to the comp side of things. exhaust housings come in different sizes as roy was saying. iv checked with most website and that backs roys theory up.
  21. hey guys, just wondering which turbo is bigger? vl turbos came out with steel wheels didnt they? if i was going to do the mod boostd done would the vl exhaust housing be better or is smaller? how is compared to the vg30? the vl one isnt ball bearing is it? sorry for all the questions just wondering which would be the better base for the upgrade.
  22. yea i forgot to mention that sorry roy! hah.. was a rb25 too.. had microtech and diff intake plenum. was on 1.6bar i think.. im sure i saw a picture of it and a caption saying 234rwkw but didnt say what boost etc.
