I am not from WA and neither are the big majority of the forum users. So, I'm sorry your humour had gone straight passed me. BUT, if that was the case, why didn't you put your thread in WA section...? More importantly, why did you address it to all the people in eastern states...?

ROFL... We don't have a problem with Wolf, infact we'd like to know more about it. The problem lies with you and your attitude that everyone is against you from the start. Example : Sydneykid didn't suggest Tristian should buy 1000cc injectors, he just corrected him and used 1000cc injectors as a reference. Why start controversial threads, ignore the questions in it, than have a sook half way through it and ask it to be closed. Why have the need to show yourself as ahead of every other tuner in the country...? Who exactly is the clown...?

Pooling may be the wrong word but, it still doesnt inject the fuel at the right time that corresponds with the opening of the intake valve. Why is majority of the industry adopting sequential fire if it didn't make a difference...? So, again, what is the importance of spray pattern in batch fire...?
-
On a sequential fire, I see your point but, what is the importance of spray pattern if your ECU is using batch fire...? The fuel pools behind the intake valve till it opens.

Yadda Yadda Yadda... I am amazed at your reasoning to justify things. Going by the units sold, I wonder where would (insert brand here) sit on the comparison...? Wolf is Cheap - Check Good results in drivability and power - Check Adaptable and guaranteed - Check Can run MAP or MAF - Check Huge power without CDI or coils - Check Used by most of the fastest skylines in WA - Check Owners like Tristian like them and get their mates to get one - Check You sell over $20000 worth each year - Check AEM struggle to keep you supply - Check WOW... That makes Wolf a very good ECU than don't it...? For the record, noone is knocking Wolf here. That would be because, most of us don't know much about them to make a comment. How about you tell us what really sets Wolf apart from the rest, or if it lacks any features by outside chance.

If they have a thread at the end of them, they are adjustable aftermarket ones. Very most likely to be min 1 bar.

1- Not on a 2WD dyno. The safest method is to drop the front shaft. 2- ATF.

No, I definitely wasn't intending to. AFAIK, he went through the troubles last year and sold a few sets to recoup his costs. If he is not interested in making anymore sets, what is your interest in trying to make him some $$$...? And how much were you planning on sending him per set...? As I said before, ebay is more suited to your ventures in this regard.

FFS... All it does is to batch fire the injectors as it doesn't have sequential drivers for 6 injectors. If that is an advantage, a lot of ecus in the market are a damn good thing. Now, if Wolf is such a good piece of gear, why aren't we being educated on them here...? Why aren't we hearing the good points of the Wolf against the other ecus, similarly priced or not...? I thought being the main Oz dealer, that's the best thing anyone could do...? What do you expect to see when you are there Ash...? Here is a premonition : You are going to see a Gts-t pushing out ~430rwhp. Whopse farken doo... Is it a good effort ? YES. Is it unique ? NO ! Now, the BIG talking point here is that, it's done on stock injectors. Another whopse farken doo... What is the infatuation with farken stock injectors...? Batch fire is an early form of injection where all the injectors fire simultaneously for each crankshaft revolution, so you have two squirts from an injector before the intake valve opens. Now. there are arguments on the advantages/disadvantages of batch fire vs sequentilal fire injection. Sequential fire is adopted by all major manufacturers today, because of its positive effects on emissions and fuel consumption. Maybe, this should be more of the talking point, rather than "look... xxx rwhp with stock injectors." I would love to see a Wolf dealer come out and correct the ramblings above, or even add to it. Magic1, Can you confirm your 120mph pass on the 1/4...?

I have these DVDs. They aren't exactly in DVD quality, but the picture is good on tube TVs. There are about 4 hrs of footage on each disk. They obviously do not have 5.1 sound. I bought my set from Fraser (canman) and paid only $100. I didn't worry about the costing when i bought my set, because Fraser went through the hassles of editing the footage and converting them from VHS. I don't mean to offend you Robocop, but I can see you making a pretty buck here. If that is your intention, I suggest you use ebay instead of the forums. For the forum members, I am happy to make a copy of the set I have for $30. Each member can make their own copies and distribute them to other members. Emre.

VERY high oil temps on track HELP!!!!
Emre replied to justinfox's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
It's underneath the oil filter. It's not an external piece of gear. The fins you see, where all the spilled oil gets collected is part of it. -
We stuck as much as 5 degrees and extra boost on a batch of decent fuel mixed with Synergy. I don't know whether what you are suggetsing is a smart idea though. The difference of 9 cents a litre is about $5 per tank, which is less than the price of a souvlaki. I don't even run that crappy 91 RON thing they pass as fuel in my Astra.

That is the Purple GTR with 'Melbourne Performance Centre' sticker on the side. There are a few of errors on the times, that 1.17 being one of them. They have Ben's best time as a 1.17, but his second lap shows 1.16...? The Porka RS shows a best time of 1.22 for one lap only, but for the rest of the day he was no where near that 1.22...? They also had Snowy at around 1.26s towards the end of the day, when in fact he was struggling to break the 1.30 mark.

VERY high oil temps on track HELP!!!!
Emre replied to justinfox's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
GTRs have a basic oil cooler in place which is cooled by the coolant system rather than the air circulation around a core. It's only effective enough to curb the rising oil temperatures generated in daily commuting. -
You need a lot of beers to recite to 'Take My Breat Away' and 'Dangerzone'.

If you can enjoy trance, techno or whatever else you call those 100 beats per second noiseworks, without the aid of drugs, you have too much sugar in your diet. You must also love chaos.

It all started with 'Breakdance' in the 80s ! Who knows/remembers 'Ozone' and 'Turbo'...?

Yes they are. Roy was in tune to 'In Dreams' by Roy Orbison. -
Where the hell is Roy Orbison in that list mate...? We'll have to invite ourselves on to one of Archie's gigs, I reckon he should DJ @ Snowy's birthday party.

VERY high oil temps on track HELP!!!!

They are water cooled plain bearing turbos with 270 degree thrust bearings. I didn't know RB20 and 25 turbos were ball bearing, are you sure on that one...? Regarding the oil drain : When you stop the engine, the oil settles down. If you have an oil cooler fitted and all the oil drained back to the sump, than when you crank the engine again, that empty volume has to be filled before oil starts circulating again. Plain and simple. The trade off is, the old oil sitting in the system during an oil change, The amount of oil left back depends on the size of your cooler core and the length of your hoses. In the case of the HKS cooler, this amount is a little larger because of longer hoses. If you want to drain all the oil from the system, put a drain plug on the bottom of your core, or disconnect the hoses. -
When I try decent fuel, I just add extra ignition to the whole map, it takes 5 seconds.

Ahem... All GTR turbos are water cooled mate, even the RB25DET ones AFAIK. Also, you don't want the whole system to drain when engine stops. Otherwise, you will have to prime up all that volume, each time you start your car. Ferni, HKS designed its oil coolers to fit on the passanger side, just a little extra hose length, that's all. Trust have some kits that fit on the driver's side but it requires you to change your BOVs to a single Trust item. -
You know the question would've been asked many times in the last 3 months, but you can't be bothered to do the search... Is that right...? Far canal... Don't bother to answer the question ! http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=54730 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=35129 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ht=prestige+gtr http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ht=prestige+gtr http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ht=prestige+gtr http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ht=prestige+gtr http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ht=prestige+gtr http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ht=prestige+gtr http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ht=prestige+gtr http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ht=prestige+gtr http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ht=prestige+gtr http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ht=prestige+gtr

No, Autosalon was on pump fuel.

They range from $25 a litre for the low spec Motul to $120 for the Castrol SRF. I use Motul RBF600 at around $50 a litre. Have a look in the Vic Events section, it was discussed not long ago. Also, if you are on Performance Forums, have a read in the 'Break Clinic' section, some very knowledgable people in the trade post in there.
