  1. i just fill a small bin up with water and connect my high pressure hose to it, technically its still out of the bucket coz the water isnt connected to the mains... much easier and quicker to wash the car that way ohh and a couple weeks ago a water main was shooting water 3 feet in the air on the corner of our street, dad called the water board and they said it will take 3 days to get someone out. he said, well if it takes that long i guess u dont care about water restrictions and i cant get in trouble for washing my house and watering my garden.... they arrived within 30mins to fix it.... government is f**ked.... ben...
  2. im after an indash dvd player... preferably something of latest ranges, not 5 years old preferably pioneer/kenwood or even better Alpine... regards. ben.
  3. lol lil bbe: so ur saying theres no rb25 or rb20 that would keep up with it.... or is that on grand turismo or something.... if this thing is such a weapon why not list any specs...
  4. br3tt- dont worry mate theres some shithouse cars up there that definatley arent show worthy, a stock r33 would put them to shame as it is... ill be headin up though with a fellow skyliner OSH-33N, but be good to get some SAU guys participating ben...
  5. theres nothin wrong with that, hell ive had things go wrong on my car when it was my fault, its my fault i admit it...i stuffed somethin on my car and ended up being 700 bucks to fix but hey shit happens...i dont go complainin about the ppl who made it when ive never heard of a bad story... ben...

  9. this thread is hilarious....everones fault but the person who fitted it isnt it? lol@ash's comment "Sounds like someone is just angry they have killed yet another turbo because they have no idea what they are doing" shit happens in the wonderful world of cars, just gotta deal with it. especially when it was YOUR fault ben...
  10. "my car must be fair healthy to rev to 9500 every day on 17psi constantly and has done 60,000klms with me driving it this way" would it be as healthy as u think, if thats how u drive it? seriously give up, u stuffed up plain and simple..consumer affairs lol what do u think there gonna say when YOUR turbo has been the ONLY one thats failed...ive been through them many times, i cant see them doing u any favours in this situation ben...

  14. i use an sm4 on my rb25/30 with also the CDi...this is by far the best computer ive ever seen... i used to previously have the pwoer fc, and for the usual bolt on stuff was fantastic, but after getting custom plenum etc and more custom stuff the power fc was way out of its league and within seconds of bolting the autronic up and starting it, was a hell of alot different, after being tuned was just unbelievably different so many features, (launch control, anti lag, flat shift, auto tune) and so many more tuning points, to get it absolutley spot on... definatley well worth their money thats for sure ill pm u my prices...for supply fit and tune together as 1 package price, coz Lincoln from Newcastle drove down to tune it, as he is an Autronic Guru ben...
  15. i just go carlovers and when i use the brush i rinse it out extremely well, have so for the past 2 years that its been sprayed orange and used to do it 2 years before that when it was black, if u rinse it out properly u wont scratch it...my paintjob is as frail as anything, so if it were to scratch i would definatley see it on mine... a full wash at carlovers cost me like 8 bucks including vacuum so its not alot... ben...
  16. hey mate i got one in great condition pm me for price, details etc ben...
  17. id like both heheh...but if i had to choose i would go the show pony ben...
  18. agreeing with Fitzies post about the cylinders...when my mate made up the custom plenum he was very particular with how cylinder 1 and 2 would get air flow, this is why alot of flow testing was done etc to make sure the cylinders were recieving almost equal ( negligable difference between all 6) air flow... also with his post about the numbers can always be improved, if ur chasing the best possible figure for ur aplication then go for it, thats what i did. no point spending big money on a great motor, only to skimp out on something that can give u even more gains... modifying the stock one is not an option i wanted to do or would recommend... i have no doubt in my mind that in my application the intake plenum has helped with response, flow..eliminated an ugly engine bay. ben...
  19. You cant bring the car over to NZ with you???? i couldnt imagine it being that hard, my best mates brother just moved back from england and brought his Audi TT over with no drama's and cost was relatively low... ben...
  20. what about the Garrett GT2560R GTR 320hp ball bearing turbo R31Nismoid: is there much difference between the -7s (as states below) and the GT-SS? These GT2560R units are a true bolt on replacement for the Nissan GTR and make for a great bolt on upgrade with similatiries to the GT2530. Dual ball bearing operation makes these a super responsive unit rated at 320Hp efficiently with scope for more power how would these be compared to the GT-SS ben...
  21. what about locally, coz although nengun is like $3000 delivered for a full kit, if im up for the taxes then i might as well try to find them here ben...
