I'm getting general oil leak from engine, about 2 litres per 10,000 kms I think, which I've only recently noticed , so something to look out for ,

I'm now up to 208,000 kms and you? So far apart from turbo I've had 2 radiator issues, 1 spark plug and a front trans link repair plus the usual front rear trailing arm bush replacements (about 3)..

Anyone had one of these pop up? Is it a major?

still doing it: can't get any code out of it this year but last year was showing the pressure switch thing always seems to fail coming up to the big climbs - just when you meed it most as my extended warranty expires in January I need to get onto this and can't just keep throwing dollars at inconclusive diagnostics can anyone suggest a cause? your help is appreciated

a major reason why I bought my turbo was that it did not have the built in sounds and I could fit my awesomely good one that still performs after 6 years' heavy use (only one blown door speaker, easily repaired)

I had that shudder bad too and took three goes to get it right. Mostly it comes from the rear I think. The mechanic who sorted it out for me finally, removed rotors and cleaned things up before re-assembling them and skimming in situ. This was after I'd had fronts replaced and rear rotorss skimmed off the car in Welly.

I just did a trans service at 168,000 kms. Not sure if it had been done before and car is now 8 years young but old fluid wasn't too discoloured. Mechanic thought things were looking good and only a few metallic bits in the filter. I had been experiencing intermittent steptronic issues that might have a faulty temp sensor as a cause. This is expensive as whole unit has to be replaced. We'll wait and see. When you do the rotors only do them on the car and clean out all the crud around them. If upgrading brakes you'll only need to do the fronts but you probably will need new rims all round. You can get good ones from wreckers. I got mine from All Nissan in Lwr Hutt and the brakes too, which came off a GT-T skyline.

I'm just gonna rip all that shit ourt and also those useless gaugesl and replace nav unit and screen with a decent cuddy and the gauges with a sony 7 inch touch screen (with nav system option maybe). $1500 and the latest and greatest, sorted. Win win.

My steptronic's playing up. Intermiitemtly will stay in 4 with no change possible. In D will not engage o/d I think but appears to be attempting to as it surges a bit. I have had pressure switch fault code when I had it checked. Anyone else had this issue?

is simply a capaciously awesome car for me I've taken loads of firewood logs and mulch (bagged and loose on tarp), 50" plasma screen (standing up cross ways on back seat with squab up) fridges washing machines etc etc and I have camped in the back on numerous occasions

Needing to replace at least one and don't fancy a long wait from Japan if I'm in a hurry. Any ideas as to quality after market low cost ones if any?

If I'm not mistaken its got Andrew Patteson Architects' signature all over it. Nice looking car will look out for it but I'd never go there as I hate the low gait already and would source an ARX next for the go most places flow. Bilstein shocks and rear swaybar and front brakes modded of course but not lowered.

I got Thules but also the OEM's thanks to a link posted on here to a trademe auction. Got these for $300 NZ so were a bargain. Cost the seller 1100 new.
