QUOTE (STAG250 @ 29 Oct 2008, 07:41 PM) * A heads up re high stop light. I failed WOF today because of it and learned from Nissan that there is only a full top panel replacement above the tailgate window. Cost to you sir? $425 NZD. $300 2nd hand. f**k that s@#t. Managed to pass after some messing around and busting into the sealed unit but a precautionary tale should you be in a likewise unhappy situation. to whoever thought up that nonsense in Japan just got back from having the resistors and diode replaced on circuit board and all is sweet again total cost $40:40 parts/labour Should any of you need to do same the resistors are rated at 2.62v but I replaced with 2.7's and this is ok. I also was recommended to replace the diode and this the Auto Electrican supplied. Btw it's a delicate operation removing inside panel to get access to nuts and bolts holding the led light assembly on. Be careful not to break it.

I enquired today also and basically front rotors are same as maxima's but after march 2002 there was a change and rears are same as xtrail's. Here in NZ they are BLOODY expensive working out at about $300 each! Found some better deals at after markets but basically fronts are not to be found except from Nissan, though the price I was quoted form my local Nissan dealer was higher than the after market guy.

  13. I'm in NZ I did some of the bushes and now need to do the sway bar bushes and thinking of replacing the bar instead if anyone has the correct make/model/part number that I need. Will get Autolign in Auckland to do it.
  14. I don't have the turbocharger's report. Mechanic's only refers to highflowed and steel shaft conversion. Does that help?
  15. beat you to it here's my pics thread http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/M3...41#entry3467741

  17. cheers for that how much did your new sway bar cost you Andy and did it include the bushes?
  18. Anyone here found an after market nolethane bush that fits the M35? I need to replace mine and don't want the soft shitty ones from Nissan that probably cost twice as much ex Japan.
  19. drain the reservoir and I will guarantee you your 4wd light will come on as mine did after I had my turbo jobby and not enough fluid had been added and bleeding been done

Hard to say. I was driving in a storm and lots of debris on the road and driving rain but I thought I heard a noise that may have been it. Considering it is just in front of the driver and the plastic fractures I would expect to hear/feel something. Good thing I checked my gauges soon after driving along motorway and picked it up. I got off and parked up pronto else it would have been much worse.

SO I get to 104 k and the top radiator hose connector breaks. Quite common apparently and can's be repaired. Now I have a 10 day wait for part ex Japan $140nzd.
