    I can ask for you but I don't understand why it's not available where you are. I'm going to Autolign here in Auckland. They have done M35 bushes before and keep the commonly failing type in stock. Here's their website. http://www.autolign.co.nz/

    I'm still a n00b to all this turbo business but I was told that standard ceramic is good only for 8 lbs and that mine with steel impellers and needle bearings is good for 13 but this seems at odds with the posts I see on the turbo lag thread I now get a chortling sound from the wastegate that I didn't get before and lag seems a little more noticeable but the surge seems stronger and more sustained exhaust growl good and deep torque could be up if I'm not mistaken is this possible? no doubt putting 3" exhaust etc would improve things but I have spent enough for now got to put my new bushes on this week and get my second wheel alignment done after and then catch my breath before spending more

    having just got back from a trip up north I will say that this 250T RS four is an awesome touring wagon and will not disappoint has tonnes of torque right where you need it and the awd comes into its own on those steep metalled surfaces where traction becomes an issue and in the wet, the tail-end of cyclone funa having crossed my path I would like the ar-x if only for the fact that I like to venture over rougher ground where clearance is necessary

    the gauges are on the 250 T correct the lcd screen displays a compass, fuel usage inc km's to empty, km's since last service, route info and interfaces to nissan entertainment system and to the gps mapping dvd

  7. and The R8's system also integrates Audi's AdBlue technology, where small quantities of aqueous urea solution are injected into the exhaust system helping to minimise emissions. Audi says the combination of this state-of-the-art ultra-low emission system with the use of advanced common rail fuel injection and twin particulate filters should mean the R8 diesel concept would comply with EU6 emission limits, proposed for 2014.
  8. from my local paper this morning Following the success of its Le Mans-winning diesel-powered R10 TDI, Audi is looking at the possibility of turning to diesel for a road-going supercar, based on the R8. This concept, unveiled at the Detriot Motor Show, is powered by the same 6.0-litre bi-turbo TDI engine showcased in the Q7 V12 TDI SUV - which is similar, in concept, to the R10 TDI race engine. It develops 375kW and over 950Nm of torque from 1,750rpm, producing an acceleration time of 4.2 seconds from 0-100km/h and top speeds in excess of 300km/h.

    sounds a lot cheaper than mine even with exchange rate and 12.5% gst factored in but I prob paid the mechanic's markup as well I notice it feels stronger but there's more lag can't tell you about hp as I haven't dyno'd it yet

  14. so I was just out getting things checked by a suspension specialist and I need new sway bar bushes and replacement links and also new bushes on transverse link (aka control arm?) The latter are prone to fail so there are after market bushes available and they have them in stock and have fitted already to other NM's. Nissan do not provide them separately. $NZ 227.40 ex Japan, 3 weeks' wait quote for two bilstein front shocks is upwards of 800 standard coilovers seem good to trot

  21. 110 more like 2000-2500 rpm minimal boost. I think standard ceramic turbo is good only for 8 lbs of boost on high octane but my reconditioned one is good for 13. I went up over a range of mountains on this trip and was maintaining 80-100 at the time
  22. I've been quoted $420 NZ for a towbar by a guy who has fitted to m35 before. Is a lot of work yes. 2 tonnes is the limit but sensibly the weight of the car braked and 750 kg unbraked.
  23. 620 km's on 67 litres my first roady on new turbo in vq25det. Leadfooted and all so not bad.
  24. today I just had my 12 inch infinity sub built in to the rear left caddy of my m35 so now the lid to the spare compartment is free to access without having to remove the box that used to sit on top of it I have standard door speakers as they sound good enough and have custom fittings that my infinity kappas would not slot in to without re-jigging. Will cross that road as and when/if I need to 4 channel Alpine V series amp and clarion dxz835mp head unit complete the bill

    the ecu for those interested is located on left-hand side footwell up high near to window line just fitted an apexera turbo timer and the auto leccy couldn't find it so I had to go to the local Nissan dealer who gave me a diagram
