mines going in this week much the same spec. not sure exactly what the clamping pressure is but its getting the organic too and will hold 400HP according to Jim. im sure he would be able to make one to suit. just tell him you want a clutch that will stand up to 300kw constant abuse. might cost a bit more than an orc but not sure. my 'mini monty' or whatever its called is costing me over $800 for a daily driver clutch.

if they do it it wont look like the gtr and it wont be badged as one. just like the stagea. itll probably look more like the murano piece of crap but go much faster. if they made it look the same and badged it the same the GTR name will lose all its exclusivity, and supercarivity. (yep its my new word)

I've seen those before and really like them but they wont suit my car. (white r34). but they would suit midnight purple really well, especially with the titanium finish.

That looks awesome. I was going to do the same on mine but I'm too lasy to keep 'em clean so i think ill go either those or te37's in a darker colour, like bronze or something, possibly even black.

That show was awesome. broken drive shaft, use a big stick. popped tyre, fill it with grass, broken leaf springs, again with the big stick. fuel pump broken just fill the wiper bottle and put the hose into the carby. those are the only ones i remember. freakin awesome.

I have the jap specs in my car and cant complain. especially with the electronic controller. drove from sunny coast to canberra just after new years for summernats and that was a bit unpleasant (my back was still sore for 2 or 3 days after we got back) but drive to brissy n back fairly often and theyre fine for that. if most of your driving is highway id probably go the aussie ones but if not go the jap spec for sure.

$220 doesnt seem too bad at all. i got quoted more on my old VR bommodore. good to know if the same happens to my 34.

Marty's doin it. hes gotta take out the clutch, send to brissy (freight charges involved) for JBC to build new one, machine flywheel, etc. then put it back in when it comes back up. Marty's hourly rate is pretty good too $70/hour i think. If it takes him less time than he quotes he wont charge it, same if it takes him longer. I don't mind payin when I know its going to be done right.

I like it. not too worried about the blood so thinking combining the ideas could work. first offence. broken fingers, second offence, off with the hands.

$880 + $400ish for Marty to install.

speaking of getting what you pay for i just got a quote for a JimBerry clutch Gotta save for an extra couple of weeks but should be awesome. Gonna get Marty to install.

EDFC definately worth it. Soo good being able to soften the suspension up for a highway run with the push of a button

Ive been quoted them from Maroochy Car Sound and Sound In Motion here on the sunshine coast. They are only moulded for left side. i guess something to do with it being in the way of things on the right side. Ive seen one moulded for a 33 and they take up fark all space.

you can get premanufactured sub boxes that are moulded to the left corner of the r34 boot. when ive got the money together to get a decent sub and amp ill be getting one. they're about $300ish for a 12" sub. probly much the same cost for 10" maybe a bit less.

If you want them that low i would look for the wing mounts from a 4door non turbo. dunno if its the same as a 2 door non turbo but they are about an inch shorter than the mounts on my GTT which im guessing are shorter than the GTR. Dont think it will make the GTR wing stick soo far back but will definately bring it closer to the bootlid.

that supercheap relay is crap. fairly easy to install but sensitivity is rubbish wont turn the lights on automatically until its pretty much pitch black but then when i go into a multi level carpark in the day theyll turn on. ripped it out again already.
