Group buy on smoked and clear would be awesome. im after some clear ones for my white 34 but cant justify spending the $$$ at the current price.

nice install mate. cheap too. don't suppose you could point me in the right direction for the software could ya? your screen install looks great might have to give it a go on the 34. ill definately be wanting to get the consult connected straight away but that shouldnt be a problem seems to be a few good software options available that work in windows.

get a jim berry clutch. you'll need someone local to do the install but he will build the clutch to your liking. i just got a custom job in mine. 'mini-monty' it feels as light as a stock clutch but will hold over 400hp. cost me under $900 + the cost of whoever you use to fit it. If you've got an hour to spare give Jim a call (and he likes to talk) he knows clutches and will go through everything with you so you not only get an awesome clutch you actually know what you're getting. i got one of the double din ones without the gps. they are pretty much rubbish as far as sound quality goes but functionality for the money is great. i have a constant whine of engine noise through it even with ground loop isolaters n stuff inplace. i havent changed back to my old head unit because i like the dvd mp3 function a little more than i dislike the sound quality. would never have bought one for permanent use though. mines temp until i build a carpc.

Atleast tax time isnt too far away so you can get it all back then i used to do that on purpose at my first job to make me save money. if i couldnt get to it i couldnt spend it. worked pretty well. i dont do it anymore because i dont like eating 2minute noodles for every meal.

+1 got them in my 34 too. mine also has the electronic damping controller thing. goes from soft for road use to hard for the track at the push of a button i think the controller is like an extra $600 or something so i probably wouldnt have bought it, that setup was on the car when i got it.

The signs wont help because im sure most of the people that do that are too stupid to know how to read. its worse though when they sit in the right hand land doing 10 below the limit with their left indicator on totally oblivious.

If they're 6.5 they'll fit as long as the magnets arent so abnormally huge that they hit on the windows when down.

yep i did that on mine. i used eclipse splits they had a choice of two mounts. the usual flush one and an angled cup for them to sit in. so its angled towards me fine. just make sure you line them up properly before drilling and make sure they clear the door seal as you dont wanna break them off the first time you close the door didnt check that on mine but luckily i was just clear of it. also as for the custom box you can get premoulded ones for the r34. i got quoted about $350 from maroochy car sound and sound in motion. im sure there are other places around on the goldcoast brisbane area that can get them. saves doing the custom work yourself.

yep slowing down to 20ish seems to work well. also if theyre too close to risk tapping the breaks and its day-time just flick the parkers on and off real quick. same effect i do like the coins idea. even just a tennis ball or an egg or somethign would do the trick.

jojo's is good to start the night with dinner and drinks. youve got a choice of italian, thai and whatever else foodwize they have there. then pick a random pub, the vic seems to be popular but i dont like it coz it takes too long to get a drink at the bar (unless you have boobs). the union jack is good if you like ye olde english style pub, kinda smells funny though. the sports bar in the casino is good for cheap drinks. the dockside comedy club is good too but i think you have to book a table there (eat before you go though, the food is the equivalent of paying $40 for a dominos pizza). everywhere else i've been was really blurry so not too sure if you're after techno crankin, pill poppin night clubs then i havent got a clue. im sure others have more of an idea as ive only been out in brisbane the last few weekends.

clutch in, and I'm very happy with the result. Tiniest bit harder under foot than stock, much better clamping. dont end up with a sore leg driving in stop start traffic

as everyone's already said, no holden rims wont fit. but im sure ford ones do. still pointless though as jap rims are way better

getting sick of driving mums festiva the 34's in at marty's getting a JB clutch put in. will be nice to be able to drive my car again, especially with a working clutch
