  1. I am quite suprised his hasnt got it. My R32 had it..I knew that the auto door lock feature wasnt standard but I always thought the folding mirrors were
  2. Wow this sucks as I too have heard this rumour. Apparently its quite common in a lot of the European countries. So i guess if you have been dialling up some big numbers on the speedo, pull over and relax for 5. Anything about the M4 ? As there are these rather odd looking boxes with cameras in them if you are heading westbound just before prospect Hwy exit. I dont know what they are. they seem to have a red glow inside them at nighttime
  3. I believe the superchargers on the 4agze does that.It has a clutch on the blower drive much like an ac clutch
  4. Yep I can vouch for the quality of Orion. I ran 4 x 15" XTR subs back in the early 90's. They were near indestructable .
  5. Not sure if your budget can afford it but I highly recommend Boston Acoustics. I believe that they designed to be mounted in a 1cft enclosure so thats gotta be a decent weight saving. Plus they can take an absolute pounding and beg for more
  6. Dont know of any BP's close to Eastern creek. Got the Shell just up the road. If you wanna travel a bit you can go to the united petroleum on Sunnyholt rd. They got 100 octane available
  7. I am going to assume that your new front mount IC has the return pipe going across the top of the radiator to meet the inlet pipe . But if that is the case look at how much extra pipework and intercooler core that the turbo now has to pressurize.I believe that it is roughly a metre of pipework you would have gained. As for the pipe getting hot, Pre IC it will always get hot when you are boosting it. After IC you would be picking up radiator heat into the IC piping.....Unfortunately we have Nissan engineers to thank for the lovely manifold design.
  8. I believe HKS may have developed a twin charger kit back years ago for the R32 GTR. I know in one of the HPI DVD's it had a blue GTR fitted with the kit. But I believe it was an old design
  9. How are the actuators on the turbos ? checked those ?
  10. I dont really know if you have blown a headgasket as I am sure you would be seeing Choco milkshake effect in the engine oil, that and it would be most likely overheat. My guess is that the turbo has shit itself, allowing oil to mix with the water on that end.
  11. yeah some really good points there, And if I may add people needing to be educated on how to properly merge onto Motorways/freeways. The common Sydney trend being to cruise down that ramp doing 60kmh when the speed sign early on the ramp says 100kmh.Then getting to the merging point and braking because cars are coming up on them so fast. Meanwhile a traffic jam behind starts to build as all who approach that motorway ramp have to slow down to 60 for said morons
  12. Hell I am happy to go for a cruise !!!!!!. You drive, I ride shotgun in the passenger seat.! But fantastic result and a Gorgeous car
  13. VL Turbo Diff is 3.45:1 lsd centre I believe. See if you can get the comp up to 11:1 and a decent tune and then I would have my bets on the VL. More so if theres a decent length of track involved. Hopefully you wont sit there in wheelspin too much. VL would have to weigh in 1250-1300 kgs ( I am guessing ) VZ would have to pork the scales at over 1600 kgs ...interesting Keep us posted on any updates
  14. If your mates one has adjustable cam gears that may explain why his ramps onto boost harder and faster.Cam gears properly dialled in can increase low end and spool up.not too sure as to what extent however
  15. As far as I am aware the stock RB26 Crankshaft is a very strong unit.Capable of withstanding quite a lot of power..What Turbos are you running ?
  16. i would highly recommend a Corolla SX or GTi. You will find them in that price range, My one has near 300,000 k's on original engine and still doesnt blow smoke. Still happily spins to 7500 rpm and will totally decimate your carby 6 banger Commo and Falcons...Yet cruising will still get 500+km to a tank of fuel 40 litre tank as well. I would stay clear of the Skylines until you can afford the one that you really want. Otherwise your just going to spend money doing it up when it really isnt the car you have your heart set on.
  17. Get a tidy low K's Skyline and it wont be expensive to maintain. Get a High K sh*tbox that has had the Ass Caned out of it and watch your cash vanish into thin air. They are fairly robust things but Any car whether it be a skyline or a ferrari can be a lemon.
  18. Geez man your a brave one for driving in that Hellhole of a neighbourhood.
  19. sorry to hear....However in the coming months there will be a lot of people telling the same sad tale...Recession here we come
  20. Yes you are 100% correct about sydney girls having a major attitude problem. I really cant see the sense in it...Where is the stuck up attitude getting them ?Melbourne people are far more social Might be worth a try to get into Ivy or the Establishment ( Maybe )...Establishment is full of Gold digging girls. So just make up stories about you career....As long as you pik up...who cares. Ivy is supposed to be pretty trendy.I know the girls who walk out of that place are always HOT
  21. arent radar detectors illegal in WA ?
  22. So who does that actually leave in ARC ? Suzuki ? anyone else ?
  23. Shop around for the motor...prices will vary with condition. I dont exactly see a huge demand for RB25's from stageas with the AWD sump. Look RB20 is a good motor, But not in a 1490kg car...RB25DET far better !!!
  24. Aparently the budget engine swap that works really well is an RB25DET from a Stagea. This being due to the stagea RB25DET coming with AWD so the whole lot is a simple bolt in affair. That extra 500cc makes the world of difference
  25. I had Apexi Pod, 3.5 " exhaust, FMIC ,HKS 2510 Boosted to 15 psi..These mods unfortunately will not aid in response. Only mid range and top end power. Like it or not RB20DET will never make low end muscle...That being said it was great in cornering and top end power...But it aint gonna run quick times down a drag strip without major clutch abuse
