i live right down the road from the cop shop n yet ive only been done once in knox when there was a blitz on during nov 08 i think. got pulled over by that bloody evo X marked car n led back to the myer car park where mr pettit was head of team that night. other than that no trouble in my area

the sort of corruption we see even with squads like this is pretty disgraceful. takes me back a few years to when jeff kennett got pulled over doing 140km in a 100km zone and got off with nothing, while a plumber on the same day in the same situation lost his license for a year. funny how that works

i drove thru the cbd round 1am or so and didnt get pulled over. did see a shitheap VS p plater being defected lol but russell st blocked off due to public event. whats going on there?

i was there just out of curiosity. drove past on my way home from work n saw all the people n was like wtf goin on here? found out it was the protest and yeh figured that since the place was half bogans with beers in their hands and muzzas looking for trouble i could tell it was gonna turn into a riot and no one failed to disappoint

I had my old skyline in the shop twice and both times just cars let me choose the repairer as long as if it was approved by them. Maybe give them a call n make a mention of a mechanic u prefer

The sherrifs use plate recognition the the states n they seem to work quite well. Once a plate comes up with a default the computer screams out pull over so the officer then gets out n issues the fine/notice/etc. Considering I've met people with thousands of dollars owing in fines I think it's only fair they get caught. As for what Graeme said bout cops in the CBC, the past few weekends I've walked around n there has literally been a cop on every corner. Never felt more safe in the city

Arrived on my usual spot on princes hwy on fri to find it was nice n busy. 5 mins later after some bikes did burnouts I saw bout 5 people get pulled over and the cops blocked both driveways of the servo I was at. All plates recorded. Lucky for me I chose not to drive that nite. Stopped by again on sat n absolutly noone around lol I think they got the point

personally i think all the anger here should be towards the driver since he is the one that chose to rip a burnout in a small crowded street and then run from the cops and continue giving imports bad names. ACA do have a rep for talking shit but they wouldnt have anything to shit on about if it wasnt for idiots like this driver

i think i got off so fkn lucky. was heading to the city and just passing thru hawthorn when the hail suddenly hit. fkn panicked as i could hear it smashing away on the bonnet and roof, plus the big ones exploding on my windscreen. every bloody servo and bridge had cars under it already but was lucky to find refuge in the loading bay for australia post. it was so loud under there i couldnt hear myself talk in the end absolutly no damage, the hail where is was pea sized, with the occasional ice cube size. come back to the s.e suburbs n cars with tape and cardboard covering the windows everywhere. some nasty dints too, could have killed someone
