  8. I used to play S2 and was a pretty serious with the G25 and all. Before i got a G25 i was one of the fastest in the country on the keyboard haha. I used to do Monday Night Racing (MNR) through the Oz-Bee Racing team. Just google it, i'm sure they are still around.
  9. My good friend used to own a 1998 E36 M3 Anniversary edition convertible. Was the 3.2L 6 etc.....all it had was a cat back exhaust and it was making 258hp @ the rear wheels. That pulled a low low 13.... If you are really only going to consider an "M" BMW, then go for an E39 M5, power, luxury, style, everything
  10. Dammit i was wrong about the headlamp washers >.< haha Yes, they are illagal Niran, so if you put them in and get yellow stickered for them, tough coooooooooooookies
  11. Yes, that is correct, HID headlights are illegal unless they are in self-levelling projector headlamps. Washer sprayer's are not necessary. However, in saying that, i have 6000K HID's in my R34 (no projectors) and i have never been bothered by the police for it. The HID's provide a lot more light, and because you have projectors in your R32, the light from the HID globe will be dispered evenly on the road in front of you, and not scattered around everywhere.
  12. Yeah that's what i meant haha i just couldnt remember the profile LOL
  13. 235/45/18 is pretty much the biggest for the front, rear you can safely go 265/35(?)/18.
  14. Stock turbo will be fine at 12psi.
  15. If you only have $25-$30K to spend, why don't you seriously look at a 2door E46 330Ci? I'm looking at a few now in Perth, and i've driven a 5speed manual with all the fruit (tv, gps, leather, sunroof, all elecs bla bla bla) and for a 3L inline6, and being luxury and smooth as silk on the road they are pretty quick. Put it this way, my 323Ci (2.5L Inline 6) had no probs hitting 200k's, so trust me, a 330Ci has plenty of squirt. And funnily enough, the ecu's in the E46's are "learning" ecu's. So if you hammer it around a bit the ecu will adapt to your driving style and the car will actaully develop slightly more power. And just for anyone reading this, no that is not a load of bullshit....
  16. Paint stripper?
  17. I'm sure this has been thought of before. Try this - when you think of something that really might work, think again, because someone has thought of it before you.
  18. Don't bother wasting your time and money. Your car is close enough to stock with those simple mods. You only starting going for serious weight reductionif you are already making 400+hp and you want your car to be a serious track weapon. I always LOL at some of the people on these forums.
  19. WTF is Ubuntu? I've never heard of that in 3 years of playing wow
  20. Hi Beer Baron, have you got any high-res photos of the Nissan R92CP from the Nismo Festival photo album? It's the blue/white/red LeMans racer with the gold/chrome BBS (?) rims If you do could, you PM me with a few? I've never been able to find any on the web
  21. Haha being a bit ignorant there. You pay stamp duty (or vehicle licence duty as we know it in WA) going by the current market value of the vehicle. Just becuase I brought a $50,000 BMW for $10,000 from a mate, it doesn't mean I pay stamp duty on $10,000, becuase that is not the current market value. Check www.redbook.com.au for market values.
  22. In my opinion, stay with the S13, or at least the CA18. Those motors are so under rated and they are extremely responsive with the right supporting mods. All you really need to do is put a decent turbo on with the supporting mods, change to 5 stud with S14 brakes, do the suspension work, and with ~300rwhp coming from a CA18 you will be surprisingly fast around any track. The CA18 motors are bloody bulletproof, Nissan's strongest rated motor....and also, them having a cast iron block does help with the "sturdiness".....also the CA18's are cheap to fix if anything goes wrong with them...as opposed to an RB26...
  23. When you buy an encumbered vehicle, you need to get a letter from the seller's finance company with the amount of funds remaining on the loan. Pay a cheque to the finance company to, and then whatever is remaining of the price, you pay to the seller, then you have yourself a vehicle that is not encumbered. Your friend should have acquired a letter from REVS for his own protection, but if the vehicle is encumbered and he knew that before buying the vehicle, why didn't he pay out the finance company for the loan instead of paying out the owner???
  24. take the rear seats out and then take the rear shelf out and you should be able to access it.
  25. With regards to the top speed of a stock R34 GTR.....put it this way, my BMW 323Ci with a 2.5L NA I6 had a top speed of 240km/h, and I tested that. So a stock R34 GTR should easily reach 300...
