  1. V8 supercars will pwn a 34gtr around a race track no questions asked. If the V8 supercars were against the Super GT Nissan GTR's then it would be a slightly different story.
  2. Change the oil+filter, change the fuel filter, replace the spark plugs. Tune the car. Get it rego'd. Go do burnouts.
  3. Isn't that the breather pipe that goes from one side of the rocker covers to the other side?
  4. The R32 GTR's were getting close to 290km/h down conrod straight in 1992... Look at it this way - the V8 supercars are the same as GTR's in Japan's current super GT series. Nothing is the same between the road going version and the race version other than the roof, and that has been proven. A current spec V8 supercar would smash something like the road going Mine's R34 GTR. However if you put a current spec V8 supercar up against a current spec Super GT GTR then we would have an interesting battle. Both V8's, both RWD, roughly the same HP, etc.
  5. Forget about all the other bullshit people tell you, I work for the Dept of Transport Licensing Service so I know all of this. YES you can have a vehicle registered in your name from the age of 16 regardless of whether you hold a driver's licence or not. I'm assuming you already have a learner's permit? If so, that means you already have a driver's licence number (and my guess is it would start with the number 5 ). This also means you already have a record with us, so when you get the car over the pits and registered it can all be in your name
  6. Could someone please check this VIN for me 6U90000 ER34202134

Haha i just checked on google and found this website, http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-repli...fm/1340763.html, which i received an email enquiry about my car almost EXACTLY the same as this! Just for the fun of it, I emailed him back saying "If your agent is coming to pick up the car for transport, is he able to pay me cash for the car on your behalf? If so, then I am willing to drop the price by a further $500.00.". I just want to see if i get an email back and what it says.

Hi all, First off - mods please move to correct section if need be. Guys, I have a potential purchaser for my car who is in the Eastern States. To cut a long story short, they said they are in the navy and do not have access to internet banking, however their bank account is linked to their PayPal account. Now they have advised me they wish to purchase my car for $24,000 which I am happy with, and that they want to pay via PayPal. I have a PayPal account with my bank account details linked to it. Basically, I want to know if anyone here has ever used to PayPal to receive a large sum of money and if so, has everything gone smoothly? I emailed back the potential purchaser and advised that if I do go ahead, I will not let the vehicle leave my driveway until the full amount of the funds have been cleared from PayPal and transferred directly into my bank account where I can access those funds. Any help? Cheers, Jace.
  12. Spoke with the seller this evening - am viewing the Midnight Purple GTR this wednesday afternoon around 4pm. I am looking forward to seeing the car, driving it, having a good chat with the seller about purchasing it and if all is good I will be paying a deposit and taking it to my mechanic this saturday (hopefully) to lift it on the hoist and do a full check over every nook & cranny on the car!
  13. Scratch what i said above. That car had weld marks on both the front A-pillars, so it had been in some kind of accident and my guess is that it was rolled. I have since found a 1996 Series 2 R33 GTR V-Spec in Midnight Purple which is almost stock (only modification is a cat-back exhaust). Panel + paint is pristine, am going to view it under the sun and drive it very soon
  14. Lol you siad you have no "self-restraint". That means you are saying you don't restrain yourself from doing anything in your car and that you havn't been caught yet BTW GL with the sale of my old rod
  15. Sorry if I'm adding "trash" to this thread, however a few of my friends own E46 M3's and they are just not as fun to drive as a GTR. The M3 motor's sound like turd, however they do have the luxury components which the GTR's do not. Personal preference I guess (I'm not having a go, just adding my experiences comparing an M3 to a R33/R34 GTR). Just my 2c worth.
  16. Spread the word for me and help find a buyer
  17. Could i get this VIN number checked please - 6U9000BCNR33024253. I gave you the Australian VIN number for this car in my last post, which you advised would not be recorded as it is not a genuine Nissan VIN. The genuine Nissan VIN is BCNR33024253, however I placed "6U9000" before it. Hopefully it is recorded on the fast software, and it should be a 1996 R33 GTR V-Spec Midnight Purple. Cheers!
  18. I don't like you anymore LOL There's nothing wrong with the car, it's a really nice cruiser to to head down south (which i do a fair bit of), and it is a cheap car to run and service etc. The E46 BMW motors and drivelines are good for 300,000km's +. I just want to get back into a performance car that is still relatively comfortable for a daily commuter
  19. I asked the owner if he would be ok with an inspection/compression test/car on hoist for my own piece of mind, and he said "No worries, you won't find one thing wrong with it, but you're more than welcome to conduct an inspection". He also told the timing belt was replaced roughly 500km's ago and said he will show me the receipt next time I see the car. He also said he had it on a dyno roughly 12months ago with just the cat-back exhaust. Once again, he said he will provide me with all the documents on the next viewing I reallly really need to sell my car, so I can give him a deposit and get him to hold the car for me!
  20. Hey mate, i've got a 2000 BMW E46 323Ci with a few cosmetic mods. Sunroof, leather, woodgrain, 5spd manual, 140kms. LINK Let me know if you're interested in a swap. I'm in WA.
  21. Had a look at this R33 GTR this evening. The car seems to be in immaculate condition and has been garaged all it's life. Easiest way to tell, all the rubbers around the front + rear windscreens are in tact, the paint is absolutely perfect and that midnight purple colour is a dream. The engine bay looks completely standard and untouched. Unfortunately i couldn't drive it as the owner has just returned from a 5week holiday in europe with his wife, so I will return sometime during the week to check it out and drive it. I told the owner that if I sell my car I will most probably give him a fairly large deposit ($3-$5K) as I don't want to bring home a GTR till uni finishes in another 4-5 weeks. The owner said he is happy to hold the car for me as long as a i pay a deposit. So, will return soon to drive it and check it out under the sun, but so far all looks good. The owner is 55years old and he brought it from an older owner in South Australia a few years back. Gotta get my assignments done now, no sleep tonight =\
  22. Will let you know, prob be in a week/two. Cheers mate, will really appreciate it! Off to the Queens now to sink some pints
  23. The dealer selling the black Series 3 emailed me more photos of the car today in sunlight. Wow it is noice! I'm thinking about going over there, checking it out and trucking it back!
  24. Which one would you say is in better condition? I emailed both the dealers and asked them email me some high-res photos of both cars inside+out, engine bay and under the car. I need to sell my farking car asap.
