ill be having a family friend who owns the local favourite smash repairs joint and is a good hand at plastic welding, so i'll be having him remove the racks and flush fill the holes left in the rails with plastic, before having them high filled and painted black. you guys need to chillax. Its personal preferance. Whats the point of having 30 ppl with the same car following the same set of rules? Otherwise why mod? Show some individualism... half of us have a stagea simply cos its something different - thats the main reason i got one. Go for it yokotas, it looks pretty cool. how does a different pivot point cause issues? still moves the linkage the same distance, just a different ratio due to a higher pivot point... doesnt make logica; sense that that would create issues.

hmm micah from my limited experience in the field (6 months of paid work exp at a paint and panel shop) im under the impression that they can just cut the section out, and tack weld a new section in. If need be, they can roll the new section to match the curves of the original. The other way is to weld a piece behind the rust hole, and then fill it. Unless it pretty fierce rust a whole door skin is not generally needed. Oh and did you bring back any shirts?????????

should be able to figure it out. Just do a search in here for the right thread (should be in the first three pages atually) and see what the minimum offset is. As loong as it doesnt sit in so much that it will fol on ur suspensin, then yes it will fit. THen its just a matter of having it hang out your guard.

like the others, im betting that it is the switch from our shifter not telling the ECU what gear the car is in, thus not letting it start, as a safety measure. In which case im pretty sure that that would not be fused due to it wold only send a really low amperage/low voltage signal.

no i mean steep... as in 4.11:1 is a steeper ratio than 2.7:1. Kthx for just coming in and not actually adding anything useful to the thread. But hey, you tried :-)

Youre in Okinawa, Japan, and asking us??? lol... Well four principals - suck, squeeze, bang, blow... Induction, compression, ignition, exhaust.... Get a decent filter and cold air induction setup to keep intake temps down. HKS/Apexi filter in factory box is fine. Up the compression by using a thinner head gasket if you wanna go through the trouble. Some adjustable cam gears maybe, and tune your ignition timing...? Grab a set of extractors, and a full exhaust with a high flow catalytic converter. Prob no larger than a 2.5 or 2 3/4" system. For better launches, get yourself some steeper diff gears. Will give you more torque, but your revs will be a little higher as you are cruising around. Should give you decent gains. theres probably heaps of stuf there that others will add to or correct me on. Or.... post in the "naturally aspirated performance" for non-turbo mods, "forced induction performance" for turbo etc.

pretty sure that you ant just change the bulb if your running HIDs? You need to pull out the whoe charing system and wire it up to run a pair of H4 globes? a compliancing yard should know - as they are meantto do it to every car that comes through their shop. are you sure they are HIDs, and not just a set of philips blue globes, which is more likely.....?

best shot would be post in the "wanted to buy" thread or in the "forced induction performance" area, or do a search in the performance area for "forged+internals" But from my experiance you cant go wrong with Arias for pistons and rods etc. Your crank will be fine with just a balancing job. One thing tho - cheap is just that - cheap. I figure if youre gonna go to the trouble of pulling your engine apart and putting new slugs in, do it properly! Have a look at the trader section, too. Someone there will have em!
